I think that the boom comics were Archie? Therefore they got affected by super genesis wave. Basically sonic and shadow were th e only ones who ‘survived’ the sgw and now they’re in sonic prime void.
Shadow falls down the hole at the end of s3 ep one and he undertales into boom. It’s never explained why that island is down there. It just is. He gets mistaken for himself multiple times and it’s a whole thing. I guess by this logic a bunch of the nine robots also end up down there. And sonic later.
Uhhh the sonic boom dimension hopping tech from those few episodes malfunctions and now sonic and shadow are having petty slap fights while hurtling through the void.
Shadow gets sonic through the portal at the end of the last episode in time except that instead of coming back to green hill it’s boom now. They’re in boom. This is now their life. Probably not but still. Sonic tries to get his and shadow’s other selves into couples counseling. It doesn’t work.

Reading sonic fanfic again and decided to reread that one sonic fic i wrote and its actually a banger?! When i first posted it i wasnt that proud of it but dang my grammar and syntax and pov set up were near perfect i got Sonic's character spot on despite only having 2 sonic media under my belt at the time and also the dialogue (comebacks) i wrote for Shadow surprised me in how accurate it is to his character and then you get into my love for anthropology and it raises this fic up to A-list status for me. Theres only two things i would change out of the whole fic now
So shoutout to me heres the fic (sonic boom) if you like "trapped together and forced to work together to get out" trope you should give it a shot
Still think it would be absolutely hilarious to have Sonic run through the sonic boom world and right pass Team Sonic for like a total of 4 seconds

Love the idea that Shadow is great with babies. Even boom!Shadow. Especially boom!Shadow. Like characters have this idea of who Shadow is and what he's like and then all of a sudden the two of them are left alone with a baby and Sonic or Amy or whoever is like struggling to interact with it and Shadow cuts in with "thats not how you hold a baby" and proceeds to be a absolute pro with the baby. No hesitation, clear evidence of past baby experiences.
I personally have a headcanon that he picked up a lot of knowledge from his trips with Maria or was straight up programmed with pediatric knowledge. And even if he wasnt i cannot be unconvinced that a ton of like 5 year olds think he's the best because they find his personality funny, and he's got one of those faces babies always stare at so they naturally calm down when he gets near them. Maybe he emits calming pheromones idk. And most people dont know but he's constantly finding himself the babysitter for the kids that live in his apartment building. The pizza man only knows Shadow as the babysitter. Has no idea this guy can go supernova and is a spy and stuff. Just knows him as the tired guy who always has kids running around. Pizza guy has no idea he even lives in the building he's in a different apartment every time.
Two episodes into sonic prime and now i desperately want to see this shadow interacting with boom!shadow

Thinking about that one post that was like "Shadow showing up in SP by kicking Sonic into a wall and screaming 'WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SISTER' after tracking Sonic down through the entire multiverse" and that other post that was like "what if each character gets sent to a world where they dont exist?" and since then my brain has not been able to stop thinking about Rouge ending up in Sonic Boom and the boom crew seeing 1) Shadow kicking Sonic's ass of course (which Sonic? Both Sonics?) and 2) a Shadow openingly care about another person, in his own Shadow-y way / boom!Shadow being so confused
Had a dream last night that for some reason Blaze and Silver were in the Sonic Boom dimension and their background was "were friends but we accidently got married but we decided to stay married because this is nice". So towards the end Blaze looks at Silver and tells him she's pregnant and his first response is excitement and "a baby!?" but then its followed by "wait how" and boom!Sonic just face palms
i dont know which interpretation is funnier: that Silver doesn't know how babies are made or that Silver is not the dad

Ive decided thats the truth. All three are true. The Sol Emeralds have decided to bless their marriage with a magic baby, therefore Silver is not the bio dad, but also Silver doesnt know how babies are made and Blaze has to sit him down and attempt to explain it while boom!Sonic dies from secondhand embarrassment in the background and Amy attempts to cover both Tails' and Knuckles' ears
