Had a dream last night that for some reason Blaze and Silver were in the Sonic Boom dimension and their background was "were friends but we accidently got married but we decided to stay married because this is nice". So towards the end Blaze looks at Silver and tells him she's pregnant and his first response is excitement and "a baby!?" but then its followed by "wait how" and boom!Sonic just face palms
i dont know which interpretation is funnier: that Silver doesn't know how babies are made or that Silver is not the dad
Abstinence: IT'S NO USE!
Ive decided thats the truth. All three are true. The Sol Emeralds have decided to bless their marriage with a magic baby, therefore Silver is not the bio dad, but also Silver doesnt know how babies are made and Blaze has to sit him down and attempt to explain it while boom!Sonic dies from secondhand embarrassment in the background and Amy attempts to cover both Tails' and Knuckles' ears
Had a dream where the end credit to Sonic Movie 3 was Silver and Blaze (who were just as small and fluffy as the rest of the movie gang) stepping out of a portal with Mephiles in his full Shadow look-a-like form
And i just have to ask: how the hell would the fandom react to finding out Sonic Movie 4 was adapting the beloathed Sonic 06???

Playing around with possibly making a boom!Silver but i cant think of any sonic boom worthy backstories. Like even if i completely ignore it like sonic boom did for Shadow i still need some reason for why he's traveled in time OR i'll have to ignore his time travel completely
Is a time traveler:
- Is like a time traveling tourist and is just passing through
- Time traveled and is now stuck in the past but its been like a year now so he's accepted it and has become some weird guy who lives on the furthest end of town that has all these rumors about him. Kinda like he's that one abandoned house near your neighborhood the kids are convinced is haunted or like he's a fairytale witch waiting for victims but the truth is he's basically a off the grid homesteader who really needs to socialize more. Team Sonic end up dropping by occasionally if they think he might know something that could help their immediate future
- Shows up with Blaze on some type of mission
- Shows up looking for Blaze (Sonic is all excited like "heck yeah ive always wanted to save a princess" only to find out Blaze's personality and dress is not fairytale damsel-like which crushes his boyhood dreams (he gets over it pretty fast dw)) and leads her rescue mission. He'd be pretty serious and focused considering his best friend has been kidnapped vs maybe being goofy after everything is over
Is not a time traveler:
- Idk a hippie-like guy??? and him and Amy bond over things like destiny shaping various futures and fortune telling
Drop me some ideas because im pretty stumped
I could take the princess one and flip it? Like its Blaze who's searching for Silver, so its reverse with having the princess save the hero (which Sonic is a bit bummed about but Amy thinks its even more romantic this way)
Problem is with both of those i cant think of any good way for someone to both kidnap and contain either one of them. Like how do you block someone's ability to use psychokinesis? Is he just sedated the whole time sleeping beauty haha? Would throwing Blaze in some type of water cage work? Ice prison? Maybe like a hostage situation would work where if she lit up they'd hurt that person (Marine? Random bystander?) so she chooses to suppress her powers herself. I cant see that working for Silver though (the bad guys would have to monitor everything moveable in the area). Like i could maybe see the bad guys dragging/tricking Blaze into coming to the boomiverse in a hope to limit her fire powers because boomiverse seems to lack both Sol Emeralds (which presumably gave her her powers) and Chaos Emeralds (which are super similar and connected to the Sol Emeralds)

Time travel from future
- Silver comes from a timeline where Lyric succeeded, and tries to travel back in time to change it. Either he messed up and ended up in Team Sonic's timeline or Lyric is about to return and try again
- Silver was running from something and picked a time-space location at random. He flys out of a portal half-conscious only to crash into Meh Burger
- Silver is running from Mephiles, who has already taken future!Shadow's likeness. Team Sonic end up helping Silver, Shadow gets dragged into it because he's being blamed for things Mephiles has done, and Silver lets a couple of seemingly unimportant things that happen in the near future slip (Amy being married, Shadow being immortal, etc)
- He's full on post-apocalyptic gritty action movie character (complete with dark clothes, a scarf, fingerless gloves, scars, serious personality, etc) (Maybe parts of him/his clothes are stained because CC is so full of soot?)
- Turns out Sonic is actually from the future, specifically a prince, who went missing as a baby. Silver, who works closely with his family and definitely gives off either authority figure vibes or overworked student vibes, has been jumping through time trying to find him. His two siblings also went missing (their mother sending them away at random in hopes of them finding safety?). Sonic is forced to choose between finding out more about himself or staying with his friends
Time travel from past
- Silver being a Ancient seems to be a pretty popular idea (and i think is kinda cool because it takes Silver's whole time travel thing and flips it) and you can keep Silver not knowing how certain things work. So either a Silver who came to the future on purpose (looking for knowledge?) or on accident (mistake, was "frozen" and "woke up" when someone accidentally set something off (like if he was kept in what is now ruins))
- Sliver and Blaze are actually heroes from legends/myths (like demigod level). Either they somehow end up visiting Team Sonic's time or Team Sonic gets sent back to their time. There is fangirling
- Turns out Sonic is actually a Ancient, specifically a prince, who went missing as a baby. Silver, who works closely with his family and definitely gives off either parental figure vibes or young but favorite babysitter vibes, has been jumping through time trying to find him. His two siblings also went missing (their mother sending them away at random in hopes of them finding safety?). Sonic is forced to choose between finding out more about himself or staying with his friends (Amy may or may not have a moment where she imagines going back in time with Sonic, where they get married and she becomes a princess)
No time travel
- And theres always the option of a different canon version of Silver ending up in the boom!universe
The great thing about creating boom!counterparts is the freedom that comes with not having to be more than remotely close to canon, but a major problem is most of what i can come up with are like single story events/Silver being a non-reoccurring character (which is fine but wasnt my original intention)
