Mikey thinks its "Jitsu"

Leo thinks its "Splinterson"

Donnie thinks their last name should properly be "Hamato-Draxum" but he hates Draxum so he's been using "Hamato"

Raph thought they didnt have one

Splinter never intended for them to have one (as he doesnt as Splinter) and his mixed feelings towards the Hamato Clan dont help clear things up

April thought their last name was "Turtle" and she never thought to actually ask them if they had a last name

There was this series of posts im trying to find again. It was someone's oc. Rise Raph adopted a baby turtle mutant, i think he was colored black or grey with yellow markings. I forget the exact senario but i think he was either deaf or mute. I wanna say his name started with a T

I like how now that both leosagi and shellshocked are popular in rottmnt fandom so now people are trying to find a crossover pairing for both Donnie and Raph. Either reblog or reply with who you crossover ship them with and what theyre from, im curious!

Okay new topic of discussion: if 2018 were flung into the tmnt multiverse and all ended up in a different verse, who do you want to end up where??

2) as someone who is currently wearing a eyepatch bc eye surgery, depictions of rise!Raph's eye recovery post-movie HIT DIFFERENT

I havent seen anyone talk about this so i guess i gotta. You know how the shadows look like booty shorts (which was a galaxy brain idea on the designers part)

But where Raph's shadows end theres red. So either he's wearing shorts underneath his shell somehow or he's wearing strips of fabric like garters

And like, it shouldn't be possible to get it under the shell bc the skin is attached to it. So is Raph really just out here like this:

Like first off, Leo introduces himself as "Leonardo Splinterson" in season two, which is after they all know Splinter's backstory

Secondly, Leo struggled to pronounce "Hamato" correctly (in season one) which suggests he's only heard it once or twice

Thirdly, Splinter only ever goes by "Hamato Yoshi" when Karai asked who he was. His kids were like "who tf is that?" "thats me" which also suggests thats a name they've either never heard of or in the case of the kids who didn't question it only heard once or twice

However im really surprised they didnt all jump on the Jitsu name bandwagon after they learned about his DNA

Okay but the choice to have the iconic angry Raph & Casey duo be portrayed by a 7-8ft giant snapping turtle with anxiety and a 5'2" scrawny girl with too much enthusiasm was galaxy brained and its a crime rottmnt never got to show us them in action

Okay this is driving me nuts WHAT are rottmnt's character colors?

Obviously the turtles are red, blue, purple, orange BUTTTT April's is always slingshotting between green and yellow, and in the s2 finally it was a blue-turquoise color. The one time Splinter was associated with just one color it was gray but i never see anyone use that, and in the s2 finally he was also a turquoise color. I assumed Casey was black but ive seen people associate her with red, but im actually starting to think her color is pink bc her earrings and vacation romper are light pink. Draxum doesnt seem to have one specific color. Casey Jr. seems to be associated with teal but it just doesnt seem right to me so im wondering if he's like April and would be depicted with various colors if given more screen time. I personally think his color is either white like his mask or beige like his cape if his color is up for debate. Other characters like Big Mama (purple) have a clear color association. Heck Mikey is shown to be yellow-gold more often than actual orange.
