Watching Avengers 1 hits so differently now (its 2021). The biggest for me is that the Thor and Loki interactions are so much heavier and mean so much more now that we know (from Thor 3, Loki tv series, etc) how much they care(d) about each other at this time. But also the Black Widow movie gives meaning to the interrogation between Nat and Loki and Clint's "do you know what its like to have someone pull you out of your own head?". And "theres no crevice you can hide" mixed with the first two episodes of the Loki series makes you rethink Loki's motivations and desires. Steve goes rogue twice in this movie and i didnt even notice it before, and both times the reasons are seen again when he goes rogue in TWS and later in Civil War. Someone mentioned that the arc reactor is basically a artificial infinity stone and thats all i could think about during the building power up and every time he touched it. The battle took place in Midtown where Peter goes to school. Theres one scene where it seems like Fury has given up on Carol making it to the party
WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME ABOUT THIS
here i am thinking (and posting about) y'all are saying MCU Loki is genderfluid because of wishful thinking BUT NO ITS RIGHT THERE still blink and you miss it BUT ITS THERE
Me: i dont know of i'll watch Loki. I didnt even like him till Thor Ragnarok because of that character growth
Me now, five episodes in: Loki is getting the same character development but faster and in a different way okay im liking this, Sylvie you grew on me and im loving your look, Classic Loki you're a post-Ragnarok!Loki i love you im so sad you died, King Loki/Kid Loki you intrigue me so much i wanna see your growth, Croki i love you i hope we see you again
The fandom last week: *a simp for Loki being soft*
The fandom this week: *a simp for Loki being a bastard*
Sometimes a family is a powerful and emotionally competent sorcerer, a child king with regrets, a pretend narcissist who's willing to change, a revenge driven disaster with no social skills, a true neutral obsessed with jet skis, and a alligator who may or may not be playing the long con
As much as i like the various packs of Lokis running around i do find it hard to imagine JUST Lokis surviving. That theres only ONE person in the UNIVERSE thats the ultimate cockroach
I hope someone made a gif set with Loki moving to hold Sylvie's hand on Lamentis and Sylvie moving to hold Loki's hand at the end of time
AU where Mobius doesnt get Loki to work on his case and Loki gets pruned as expected and is transported to The Void. Basically im asking what would happen in Lokiville?
Loki in Episode 1 just lived through a day that was the best day of his life turned into the most humiliating day of his life which turned into the most confusing-frustrating day of his life. Which now that he's in The Void has officially been stamped the worse 24 hours of his life. He does not have the character development that Episode 5 Loki does, so what does he do? Where does he fall in the pecking order? Which gang does he join?
Some of my reactions this ep because it gave me FEELS
- Kid Loki is King? Nice but how
- "I killed Thor" BRO. BRO WAS THAT ON PURPOSE OR ACCIDENT? Kinda gave off the vibe thats thats the worst thing any Loki there has done and in that case it really tells you how Loki actually feels about Thor that his murderer is the most feared of the Lokis
- "Have you met a female variant?" "No but she sounds terrifying" i legit wanna know how'd she fall into the pecking order if she didnt go after Aolith or whatever its name is. All variants are distinctly different but she's very different (personality and appearance)
- I dont care if he's a alligator im still calling him Croki (alligators belong to the crocodilian taxonomy so it could still work)
- President Loki's horns look like something you'd pick up in Party City lol
- "Whenever a Loki tries to change and actually grows we end up here" so like are these two the only ones besides our main two Lokis to actively better themselves?!?!
- Look at him run at Sylvie thats actually kinda cute
- Sylvie i know you think you're smart but you keep making bad bad decisions this ep
- "I got lonely. I missed Thor." OKAY JUST HIT ME STRAIGHT IN THE HEART I DIDNT THINK THAT WOULD MAKE ME THIS EMOTIONAL. Also he's a post-Ragnarok Loki!!! Thats my fav version and we got one!!
- "Ive betrayed everyone that loved me" HES TALKING ABOUT IT
- HE CONJURED ASGARD!!!! ASGARD!! I havent said this since like 2015 but that hit me in the feels
- I was really expecting Kid Loki to come out the other side with his own illusions
- Yes i was waiting for the hand holding but i was expecting the finger- OH YES THEY DID THE FINGER HAND HOLDING
- Really surprised Loki didnt give himself his own clothes back but its prob to visually represent growth
- Watch the final boss be a Loki
Loki: what? No. She's irritating and keeps hitting me
Me: yes sibling dynamic here we come
Mobius: only you would fall in love with yourself
Me: wait hold up NO
I was gonna draw these little scenes i came up with in my head but apparently ive forgotten how to draw so have them in written form instead (and feel free to draw them yourselves)
- Sylvie in regular Asgard clothes. Would she wear a dress and armor combo we saw a few times? "Mens" clothes with a jacket/vest that gives a allusion of a skirt?
- Sylvie and Loki hugging. Either as the apocalypse scene or the future reunion scene. And its like hardcore hugging with hands balled up in shirts and grabbing each other as tight as they can. Sylvie's pressed her face in his shoulder bc imminent deathbut because she so short Loki cant hide his face too so he settles for tilting and pressing his face in the side of her head.
- Sylvie and Loki in their Asgard clothes (can be matching) wearing their matching horns like crowns as they oversee something from a cliff. Idk just a regal aura
- Sylvie and Loki (accidentally?) walking out of a door into Avengers Tower and the reactions. Awkward wave or just ignore them? The Avenger's faces. What does Thor do?
- Actually Thor coming up and (not immediately fighting) treating Sylvie as a Respectful Lady with the hand kiss and overuse of titles while the Midgardian Avengers look on in "wtf is happening right now whats with the medieval knight manners we should be attacking" would actually be hilarious. Bonus points for irritated with/embarrassed by Thor (who Sylvie is humoring) Loki whos standing right next to them
Kinda wish i watched Thor 1 and Avengers 1 before i started Loki because i keep seeing him as Ragnarok!Loki but hes actually Avengers!Loki in the beginning and i just confuse myself
Having "friendship like ours is uncommon" and having Loki think on his relationship with his AU self CANNOT BE A COINCIDENCE heres how sylki as a broship can still work in this essay i will
Loki and Sylvie showing back up on Midgard for whatever reason and running into the Avengers (maybe they jumped out a door that ended up in the Tower maybe theyre trying to rule Earth again idk) and Tony makes a joke about how they're in matching outfits but the camera jumps back to a earlier scene of them from like 5 minutes ago arguing about who's gonna change because "we cant both wear dark green and gold horns and im not changing" before jumping back to the present where they're both refusing to look at each other because its as embarrassing as expected but neither of them will apologize and they wont give Tony the satisfaction of responding to that comment
Episode 4 more like how many hair flips can we fit in the span of 50 minutes
The theme of this episode was friendship and not being alone and i respect that
"Do you think what makes a Loki a Loki, is that we alway lose?"That we are alwaysalonein the end
"No, you're just a bad friend"
"You'll always be alone!"
"You actually care about her!"
"I... had friends"
"You know that friendship like ours... its uncommon"
"Trust the words of a friend"
