Do you ever call something or have a certain headcanon and no one really believes you? And then 4 years later a new season drops or the next book in the series comes out AND YOU WERE RIGHT and no one cares that you were right? Anyways I thought itd be fun to have a post out there that we can all reblog and say what we were right about
I'll start us off:
- I had this feeling the moment i read Nico di Angelo's introduction that he was gay. It was confirmed 5 or 6 books later
- I said ladrien was the spiciest side of the love square. Season 2 came out and they had their first interaction and the 20 some fics that existed before that (half were spicy btw, so i wasnt the only one who knew but no one cared to read them/go into the tag based on this common idea they were the most vanilla) suddenly blew up to 200
- Back when Voltron was the show to watch everyone was screaming about how Keith was gay and Lance was bi. The doodle of the crew holding up signs had Lance and Shiro both holding the LGBT sign, and right away i was like "well if they're gonna confirm anyone its gonna be Shiro" and then i was right
- I think this was like a lowkey consensus that yennskier is the most interesting dynamic in geraskefer, but they didnt have any canon content so they were pretty overlooked in terms of all ship content. Season 2 just dropped and the yennskier/yenskier fanfics are being pushed out like 10 a day over on AO3
- And then theres the rarepairs i had as crack ships that became actual ships that were vaguely confirmed in their final seasons: entrapdak and kalluzeb
(also shatt got really big after matts reintroduction/shiros backstory was revealed and it was hilarious to watch the fandom turn around on that but its not canon so im not counting that)
