Been reading some genderbent spn fics and i disagreed with some of the alternate names some authors gave the characters so i thought id give it a shot myself

There are specific reasons for each name i chose but this is already gonna be long enough so ill skip it for now but if you want to know feel free to ask

She'd still be wearing open shirts and the only thing keeping them on is movie magic and the occasional strategically placed object

Second of all and most importantly: would fem!Sanji still be rocking the pantsuit or would she go full out with a short skirt and heels? Does she still fight in the heels or does she dramatically kick them off in the beginning of fights? Is she still covered head-to-toe complete with the tie or we talking tasteful cleavage and bare legs? Maybe the dress shirt but with those string bowties? Is the suit look completely swapped out for a formal dress or maybe she has a dress but keeps the blazer? Fem!Sanji would have impecable fashion and i need to know what it is

Genderbend draft 2!

Or rough draft since theres little detail and it was quick lol. Dont worry, she'll be more muscular in the final design, i was just using a old template for my drafts. I'll work on hair (im thinking braided ponytail) and shoes later.

Narrowed it down to 4 looks (pre-accessories)

Top to bottom:

1) is the wives look. He said they looked flashy so we know he would likely wear a similar outfit if he was female

2) tell me he wouldnt a crop top. Male or female form. Midriff is flashy. So are bellybutton piercings.

3) tell me he wouldnt want a boob window. I dare you. Plus the high collar + no sleeves is his standard look so he therefore should still keep the collar

4) i think he'd be a huge fan of hip holes. Little bit of skin on the chest, a couple more bits on the hips to break up the monotony of the outfit. Maybe he's got a thigh-to-hip tattoo he wants to show off? Question is is this also a crop top (another little bit of skin on the belly)?

Update for a AU no one cares about but im talking about anywaysssss

Heres the current names for the GB TMNT AU bc i keep changing them lol

  • Currently looking for a name option for boy!Karai (please suggest some!) and deciding between 4 names for boy!April (Abriel, Aprell, Priel, Prell). Still gotta pick a last name for the turtles (Hamato, Tang, Splinterson/Splinterdotter/etc) and a nickname for Don (Donnie vs Donni/Doni).
  • The reason the spelling (and in Don's case renaming) all have in-universe reasons lol so they look off for a reason (the out-of-universe reason was i wanted clear distinctions for crossover purposes and then i went ham because i love researching naming conventions)

Feel free to leave a comment on the name choices im still debating because ive been debating them FOR DAYS

Some more "im bored so im making a au" time and imma talk about it bc i can

So i was thinking about the multiverse and how there has to be at least one universe where all the ninja turtles are girls/raised as daughters (im a firm believer in every version of Splinter looking at these baby turtles and going "i have no idea what sex they are so im just gonna call them all 'he'"), so i decided to play around with a full on genderswap au

Ive run into a bit of a problem regarding names. I really really want to keep the turtle's real names and nicknames, as 1) i feel they are essential to all tmnt continuities and 2) the nicknames aren't hardcore masculine names these days and therefore highly likely they would use them

The big problem is April. Ive looked at 49 different versions and combinations of names for boy!April and narrowed them down to these:

  • Abriel O'Neil
  • April O'Neil
  • August O'Neil
  • Neil O'Priel
  • Neilson O'Prell
  • O. Neil April
  • Prell O'Neil
  • Priel O'Neil

They're in alphabetical order. My big focus here was the pronunciation sounding like "ae-pril" and "neel"

"April" itself has a (documented) history of only being a feminine name, which is why i was playing around with different spellings and similar pronunciations or swapping it to boy!April's lastname. Im not a huge fan of "August" but i have seen it used for other ppl's boy!Aprils so im not ruling it out yet

The second, much more minor problem is spelling for all the names.

Like for Raph "Raphaelle" is pronounced the exact same as "Raphael" and is therefore a option, but i didnt change any other of the turtles' fullname spellings

And you got a couple different options for Donnie, ranging from "Donnie" to the recent trends of using "i"s to make things more feminine with "Donni" or "Doni"

Casey itself is a unisex name (which is why i dont get why rottmnt had her fullname be "Cassandra" but i digress) so there is no reason to change it, but every girl named "Casey" i've ever met has spelled it with a "k" (two "Kasey"s and one "Kaycee")

Basically im warring with myself over theres no reason to change the spellings especially when this makes it more in-line with canon vs ive read a lot of crossovers so i know things can get confusing real quick and changing spellings would clear that up real fast

Do i think Splinter wouldve spelt them more feminine? Maybe. Do i see one or two of the turtles changing the spelling of their name to be more feminine? Yeah. (Its not like they have birth certificates telling them how its spelled)
