Diana is not only his equal but at times she becomes his protector, his sentinel, and his rock. She not only understands his burdens but allows him the freedom to feel and just be Clark/Kal who has anxieties and doubts like most men. He doesn’t always have to save or be strong for her because she can save and be emotionally strong for them both when the going gets tough for even Superman.  They have been like this as best friends and as lovers. This relationship is one that reciprocates mentally and emotionally as well as physically. My OTP. The only fictional paring to make me “ship.”

Love is not all sunshine and roses.

Love that is never tested is not love.

Real love is there to protect, support, give hope and peace.

True love is unconditional. Even when times are darkest. It doesn’t wane or run.

She stays with him when he lost his power in Truth. She pleads to her God family for his life. She fights  to save his life in Trinity War.  She reminds him never to give up even when the Doomsday virus tried to take over. She supports him as he is dying of a terminal illness.

This is the kind of love Diana has for Clark. Loving him until the end even though her heart is breaking.

The love Diana has for Clark is real and true. It wasn’t because of what she could gain from being with him. She is a demi goddess, who can look after herself. She was with him because she loved the man.

Superman was a lucky man to have her love. The love of a Wonder Woman
