I have to talk about this scene cause it's driving me crazy. The juxtaposition of how painful the doom power transformations are for Shadow and the sheer power high and glee he gets for just a moment after acquiring his final ability, the Doom Wing, to the point of smiling about it is doing things to my brain. Not to mention that one quick line where he says "I feel...complete" had me lose it. We know he's only gaining these abilities as a means to defeat Black Doom. We know he hates the fact that he's part Black Arms just from what we saw in Shadow Dark Beginnings. And we know he has no choice but to keep collecting these powers even though every time he unlocks one he's pleading "No" over and over again. He doesn't want to do this and yet every power feels right to him because of his DNA and that must mess with his head so much.

I am not over Gerald calling Shadow son in Shadow Generations. That's his boy, that's his real son boy that he has to say goodbye to. He's so upset he put Shadow in this position from the very beginning, but he loves him and he's so glad to have created him and I fucking CAN'T.

I finally made time to sit down and watch the first Sonic movie and went with friends to see Sonic 2 yesterday. They’re SO GOOD! I haven’t been excited about any Sonic related media in so long and I think I must have giggled and screamed at certain points during the second movie more times then I can count. It was wholesome, I loved all the characters, sonic and human characters alike, the action and effects were incredibly satisfying and the found family dynamic is TOP CHOICE.  100% hooked into the movie universe all the way. And don’t get me started about the after credits scene cause I FREAKED the hell out thinking they were gonna show another character first for the next film, but NOPE WE’RE GOING THERE NEXT HELL YEAH.

In the demon slayer movie, why do the characters no longer care about collecting demon blood do you know? I found it weird that they didn’t mention it but maybe I’ve missed something?

Because the only blood they care about collecting are from demons closest to Muzan and that probably doesn’t include any of the lower rank anymore since the upper ranks exceed them in power significantly. Also the only lower rank left took them so much effort to defeat and even then Tanjiro was injured badly and could only focus on just breathing to not die after the fight. I think I’d give Tanjiro the benefit of the doubt that collecting blood was the last thing on his mind at the moment considering everything that happened to him in the movie. The one chance he had to get any blood from an upper rank would have felt super out of place considering the circumstances and emotions involved. He went through A LOT.
