…. This is also when you have the best ending of the game, where everyone is alive. Remember where Markus stood on a podium in front of all these Androids who got rescued by him and Connor? He starts his speech and speaks about their first step into freedom and holds a beautiful and encouraging speech but meanwhile Connor gets hacked by Cyberlife and has to do one of the hardest things he might has ever done; (maybe after the decision of becoming a deviant) he has to stop the hacking and find a way out of it. In the time where he goes to the stone, he pulls out a gun and is about to point it at Markus, and depending on the success of withstanding the hacking, he puts the gun away and remains a deviant or.. Yeah, the other horrible ending.

BUT WHAT IF

When Connor has the gun in his hands, Markus turns around and stops his speech as he realizises what he is about to do. Simon and the others are just standing there, shocked and too afraid of what might happen. He locks eyes with Connor and notices that this isn’t his own will. That this must be Cyberlifes doing, he thinks to himself. So he does the only thing that comes to his mind -

He slowly walks towards the Android, trying to blend out the gun pointed at him and as he stands in front of Connor he just smiles and says something like “I love you, Connor.”

As Connor hears these words, he blinks a few times and the hand holding the gun lowers down. He remembers the calm but firm voice, the gentleness behind those words. And immediately, as he looks into the eyes of Markus, he gets control over his body and mind and his own brown eyes widen as he spots the gun. Before he can panic, Markus repeats his words from before and locks his lips with Connors. Connor immediately relaxes into the familiar touch of Markus and smiles a little bit into the kiss. Only Markus could bring him back from a hacking attack with just three simple words.

Bonus: A shy Connor as he realizes that this whole scenario just happened before thousands of Androids.
