Been feeling kinda sick and sad at my art recently so I decided to draw puppy dog Connor suffering the woes of humanity and cuddling Gabriel Ultrakill to cope

Oh, well, here's the game that is giving @anifanatical I had fun drawing it, so I like the result.

Connor... The Hank's heart is very weak
…. This is also when you have the best ending of the game, where everyone is alive. Remember where Markus stood on a podium in front of all these Androids who got rescued by him and Connor? He starts his speech and speaks about their first step into freedom and holds a beautiful and encouraging speech but meanwhile Connor gets hacked by Cyberlife and has to do one of the hardest things he might has ever done; (maybe after the decision of becoming a deviant) he has to stop the hacking and find a way out of it. In the time where he goes to the stone, he pulls out a gun and is about to point it at Markus, and depending on the success of withstanding the hacking, he puts the gun away and remains a deviant or.. Yeah, the other horrible ending.
BUT WHAT IF
When Connor has the gun in his hands, Markus turns around and stops his speech as he realizises what he is about to do. Simon and the others are just standing there, shocked and too afraid of what might happen. He locks eyes with Connor and notices that this isn’t his own will. That this must be Cyberlifes doing, he thinks to himself. So he does the only thing that comes to his mind -
He slowly walks towards the Android, trying to blend out the gun pointed at him and as he stands in front of Connor he just smiles and says something like “I love you, Connor.”
As Connor hears these words, he blinks a few times and the hand holding the gun lowers down. He remembers the calm but firm voice, the gentleness behind those words. And immediately, as he looks into the eyes of Markus, he gets control over his body and mind and his own brown eyes widen as he spots the gun. Before he can panic, Markus repeats his words from before and locks his lips with Connors. Connor immediately relaxes into the familiar touch of Markus and smiles a little bit into the kiss. Only Markus could bring him back from a hacking attack with just three simple words.
Bonus: A shy Connor as he realizes that this whole scenario just happened before thousands of Androids.
Hank canonically watches all of this on the news.
Imagine witnessing the person you care about more than anything kill themselves in front of hundreds because they fucking can't take it anymore. All the abuse eating away at their mind, them not trusting themselves that they will do the right thing.
Their fear, their desperation, their pain.
Connor had never suicidal tendencies. He was always strong as a rock.
No signs that something like this could ever happen.
No one knew about Amanda in his head. Hank never realised that something was awfully wrong from the start.
He fought hard for this, for the revolution. Hank fought alongside him, in the best way he could.
But Connor watched his brothers in arms die.
And he couldn't control the abuse anymore.
To everyone's shock, he put a gun to his throat.
He felt *alone*, that no one was there to help him.
Hank had made him promise that they would meet at the chicken feed the morning after, so he could take him home and together they would start a new life; Hank free from his demons and Connor free from his programming.
They were so close but Connor shot himself. And Hank could not stop it.
And he could not find out why. Why did Connor kill himself? What was that that gave him such trouble?
Hank would never know.
He would never know that Connor had this voice in his head that was causing him such distress. That this voice did everything to control him.
That Connor kept it all to himself unlike Hank who opened up about his struggles.
That Connor was actually the most vulnerable.
Connor's friendship saved Hank but Hank's friendship with Connor wasn't enough to save him. The problem was much deeper.
And so Hank played russian roulette one more time and succeeded. No alcohol needed this time.
He knew what he had to do.
What if Hank never gets out of Cyberlife again? What if he lies next to Connor before shooting himself?
What if some guards later find them out next to each other, maybe touching and can't figure out what happened?
What if they think it's strange because in the midst of an incoming war between androids and humans, a human and an android died together, one having placed his arm over the other? What if they later watch some hidden camera that Connor didn't know was there and can't believe what happened?
The most advanced android to have ever existed, made specifically to hunt deviants managed to infiltrate Cyberlife so he could raise an army of thousands? His twin shooting him? His cop partner, the famed lieutenant in Detroit who was tasked to eliminate them ended up shooting himself because he couldn't take the loss of the android that was supposed to take orders from him?
