Yeah, and so many other great QB's spent time in the CFL. And on the NFL side, he has done so much, and proved he only needs reps. He's been off the field for so long. I hope an NFL team picks him up as a project. I think he's worth league minimum. He's got at least 7 more years in him, because he hasn't been banged up. He's a young 28. I'm not a fan because he's christian. I'm not. Not a fan just because I'm a gator. I am. Mostly a fan because he never quits. No matter what anyone says.

I love what you have to say here because Tim does have wide range of fans and for many different reasons.  Many Tebow haters automatically go right to the religious route saying all Tim’s fan only love him because he is religious and that we ‘worship’ him.  Which is the furtherest from the truth.  Running my forum that is solely based around Tim, we have religious fans, we have fans who are atheist and just love the guy for football reason and even what he does off the field, we have fans that like Tim for his charity work and may not even watch much football.  Not saying being religious and a fan ofTim’s is bad at all… but clumping Tim’s fans into one category and making asinine assumptions and ridiculous statements bothers me as well.

That’s why people are still talking about him.  Not because he is super religious (sure it is talked about, but not the main point) but because he is the under dog that should be a champion.  How can one not root for Tim?  He sticks by his guns, doesn’t let the naysayers take him down, and lives his dream.  I love that about him too.

Thanks for the thoughts.  Your message was great! :D

It all comes down to John Elway. When he became VP of operations, Elway immediately began looking to replace him as a QB before deciding on Peyton. I just don't understand why he keeps getting cut when he's willing to put in the work and learn and be patient.

Very true.  From whatI understand Tim was being shopped at the Combine that year before Manning was even a factor.  Which is sad in a way because Tim never had a chance whatsoever to grow with the Broncos whether he was the 1st or 2nd stringer.  Exactly, I hate when people suggest that Tebow is not a team player and doesn’t care to learn new things, because he does.  Unfortunately, there again the media made up that rumor that he was unwilling to switch positions, which he did in NY.  Which people seem to forget real quickly.

Thank you!  :D  I found them completely randomly yesterday while googling for Tim images - they’re from his campaign with Tivo!  I think you can find them pretty easily just by googling “tim tebow tivo” - but how aodrabe is he?!

I wish we had new new pics of Tim, but… recycled photos we haven’t seen/used in a while will have to do!  :D

Saw this photo of Tim take about 6 days ago. Don't you think he looks like he aged and lost weight? Maybe its due to the angel the shot was taken. What do you think? instagram(.)com/p/fyICOlqXy1/#

He may have lost some weight - Tim gained a lot of weight when he joined the Jets, and I think he’s slowly been shedding that.  He looked noticeably lighter when he was on the Patriots (to me, anyway).  But I don’t think it’s anything too drastic.  I’m not seeing the aged too much - I’d blame that on the lighting/angle/picture in general.  :)  If you remember the candids from Hawaii the other day, he looked really good there!

Have you seen the profile "pussy on fire" ?? I feel like its so disrespectfull because he is christian and a girl keeps posting his pics there. Your pages name is nice but this page annoys me !!!

To each their own when it comes to tumblr names.  :)  It seems that person is just simply someone who reposts athletes/attractive men.  I have more of an issue with the fact that I see edits stolen from a good friend on there.  :/

Hi. First... I LOVE your blog !!! Second... Do you know which church Tim goes ? Like baptism, Pentecostal,.... ?? Thanks !!

Thank you!  :D  I’m glad to hear that!  I actually don’t, myself (or if I do, it would be a complete guess), but I’m pretty sure someone who follows this blog will.  Shoot us an ask if you know!

honestly, thank you so much for keeping this blog running. Even after he's a bit irrelevant. But to us, he's awesome :). i love you girl or boy who runs this blog! GAH

Aww, thank you!  I won’t ever close this blog.  Even if we have to recycle old pictures in new ways.  I respect and admire Tim way too much to just give up on him (or his NFL career)!

And I love you, anon!  :D  p.s. girl.

I was relying on football season to supply me with new pics of Tebow. I feel cheated and sad! Somebody get in his face and snap away! I need this!

I know the feeling!  :(  I will try to get some edits done today and early this week so we at least have some new older things to look at to tide us over!

(1)I live in Europe and Football isn't very big here. Icehockey is a bit bigger but still a minority sport. Somehow I managed to become a fan and started following the NHL. One of my favorite hockey reporters has a nice twitter and hates Tim with a passion. So he kept mentioning him. I had no idea who he was. From the tweets I summized he was an overly religious showboat footballplayer. After some months of that reporter ranting about Tim I went to check him out.

(2) I have to say I was hugely surprised. First of all I’ll admit that he was way cute! (I thought he must be with all the hype) But I still wanted to find out that all the vitriol against him was justified. Turned out I didn’t agree. I see how his beliefs and the display can rub a passionate atheist the wrong way. But it wasn’t actually Tim who made a big deal of Tebowing, it was the media. And Tim is so caring and thoughtful.
(3) I disliked his focus on the family ad immensly, but mostly because I think his/his moms story is a shining example for pro-choice (since she made a choice) and because I don’t like him associated with hate-groups. Everything else about Tim and how he carries himself surprised me. When I realised he doesn’t even take himself anywhere near as serious as his fans/haters do, I was a gonner. Now I can’t help but adore him. And I’m so sad I won’t see any of him this season.

Copied and pasted all the parts so everyone could see this message - because it’s great and touches on so many important things.

Anon, I agree with pretty much everything you said.  I went from not knowing who Tim Tebow was and expecting to dislike him him (although my best friend talked so highly of him), and then actually did my research, and found that he was an extremely likeable guy!  Especially when you take into consideration, like you said, that so much of his reputation is not his fault.  Yes, Tim is very religious.  If you ask him about that, I’m sure he’ll talk about it!  But I also don’t think he shoves it in anyone’s throat (many athletes say they want to thank Jesus, or end a speech with God bless).  Part of Tim’s appeal is that he is who he is.  He doesn’t make apologies or excuses for it and he doesn’t dwell on the hate or try to make people like him.

And I think that’s why so many of us do.  :)

Do you know the reason why Tim is working out at USC?

No idea!  I tried googling it, but the only things that turn up are crappy gossip things or “let’s shame Tim for not having a job” articles, of course.  :(

Random question: Do you know of any "game balls" Timmy has gotten? Like when the coach huddles the team in the locker room after the game and gives the ball to one player. I'm pretty sure I saw at least once in Denver where they gave it to him. I've tried looking it up online, but no luck! If you don't know don't worry about it! I just couldn't think of anyone else to ask! :)

You know, I was watching the Giants game (which, by the way… as a Giants fan, can I just say ouch?), and after it ended, they talked about how Romo and someone else would receive the game ball, and I wondered if Tim has any, haha!  So nope, I have no idea.  :(  But if anyone else knows, or could find out, let us know!

I think Tim should play a different position on the NFL just so I get to see him during the Super Bowl. Now I don't have any reason to watch the Super Bowl cause Tim isn't there. :(

I have mixed feelings on it!  I think, on one hand, it would be great just to see Tim on the field and watch him play.  But on the other, if he would be playing and not happy with what he’s doing… I wouldn’t want to see that, either.  We’ll see what happens!  But football season certainly isn’t the same without him.  :(

Sorry, anon.  I think you’re referring to the photoset I reblogged last night - that wasn’t me!  But you might be able to ask the original poster!

I was looking at recent photos of Tim, don't you think he lost weight or is it just his hair? Not that he looks unhealthy or anything like that. His still looking gorgeous, happy, and healthy :)

Tim did lose weight!  :)  When he joined the Jets, I believe Rex Ryan had him gain a little weight to be a little heftier (… for whatever reason).  He slimmed down a bit after the season.  He looks great!  :)
