I wanna see those answers lol
Most of them are still accessible via the link, and they’re extremely funny.
Let me just transcribe one of the Q&As . . .
Why do Baby Sea Ponies need floats? Wouldn't they know how to swim as soon as they were born, or have their moms teach them?
Why didn't they have their own shells to stick their tails in after a long day of swimming, like the adults?
Featherfire
Dear Featherfire,
Being a baby myself, the first part of your question needed no research on my part. Yes, the Baby Sea Ponies are born knowing how to swim, but being so young, and mommies being the way they are . . . well, remember how it was when you were smaller? By the time you are about eleven, you know just about everything, and are ready to set out for school all by yourself and conquer the world with your vast wisdom and experience.
Mom, on the other hand, seems totally convinced that you will not be able to make it through the day without a huge thick jacket, a knitted cap resembling something out of T'was the Night Before Christmas, earmuffs, a change of underwear, a reflective strip across your back, a Kleenex box, a can of pepper spray, and a list of "emergency" numbers including the fire department (in case you stumble upon a raging inferno in your Social Studies class) and the plumber (from whence the emergency number list came).
Let me relate to you a conversation I heard the other day at Playtime Pond:
A bunch of the Baby Sea Ponies had swum out for a game of watertag. Now in watertag, speed and agility are of the utmost importance, so the Baby Sea Ponies make their bravest efforts to slip out of their mother's sight without their floats on. The successful ones invariably had a better game than the not-so-successful ones.
Tiny Bubbles had almost made it when I heard echoing across the stillness: "Tiny BubBLES! You forgot your FLOATEE!" And out came Surf Dancer carrying the large plastic duck as Tiny Bubbles blushed bright red. The din, of course, alerted all the other neighborhood moms, who subsequently looked out the window and discovered their little ones were floatless as well. It was all over.
As for the second question, no, I do not see many Baby Sea Ponies who own their own seashell home. In Ponyland, you must be at least twenty-one to take out a mortgage.
