Have you ever scanned any gen 3 books? I mean, I don't think they're being sold new anymore anyway.
I scanned in The Thanksgiving Gift and I definitely intend to do more in the future. :)

You and you random robot postings are starting to tempt me to give your other fandom a peek. Any suggestions on where to begin?
That’s a good question! ”Transformers fandom” covers a broad range, and so you have fans who are only interested in one or two continuities and fans who like the whole shebang. Both totally legit options.
Here are some of the more recent / popular Transformers continuities.
Personally, I use Tumblr as my Transformers hub. I follow blogs that reblog TF stuff that I like. And I’ve met some awesome friends that way! (Pro-tip, if you search for MTMTE you’ll find More Than Meets the Eye stuff and if you search for TFP you’ll find Transformers Prime stuff.)
There is Rule 34 of Transformers, as with anything, so don’t search at work; search at home and, if you don’t want Rule 34, find some blogs that don’t blog that kind of material and follow them. Or filter out posts tags “NSFW”. There’s a way to do that, right? I think there is, anyway.
If you like roleplaying, there are lots of Transformers ask-blogs, where someone pretends to be a character and answers questions as them. (You can ask them questions anonymously or as a human "character", usually.)
There are also TF message boards, but they are mostly male-dominated and … I don’t know. It’s not that I don’t feel welcomed on them, but I don’t feel like I fit in on them either. Like, I’m a-okay with slash and shipping and I feel like there’s a big “EWWWW” factor on the forums, even if you’re talking about shipping in the safe-for-work “giving your crush a flower and a cute peck on the cheek” sense.
So I prefer Tumblr. It’s where all the lady fans are at.
wildshadow said: Getting close to getting them all? Were they all MLP or mixture with MLP & Friends? Oh and CONGRATS!
I received them all at once. :) 50-ish "My Little Pony" comics, 25-ish "My Little Pony and Friends" comics.
Sadly still missing the "MLP & Friends" with the Smooze, but I did get lots of later comics from that set. Strangely inconsistent on the type of paper they use. Ranges from super high quality, thick paper to very very thin paper.
do u kno the name of the pony that was yellow with red hair i think?? her cutie mark was a bowl of porridge
Could she be pink with yellow/gold hair? Because if so that would be mail order pony Goldilocks.
More about her on My Little Wiki.
The only yellow pony with red hair who springs to mind is Diamond Dreams, but she had a carousel style “cape” molded onto her entire back, not a “normal” symbol.
You know what you said about how G4 should do playset-exclusive ponies? Well, there IS the Wedding Castle playset. Which has something oddly familiar about it for the G1-savvy... Big solid-plastic pink castle with exclusive white unicorn who has a two-tone blue mane... Sound familiar?
Oh yeah! You mean this pony!
*immature, snorting laughter*
Maybe you can help me. When I was a kid (back in the late 80's early 90's) there were MLP toys that were these tiny one inch ponies, and they came with house play sets. There was even a big castle set (I had it and it was my crown jewel). But, I can't remember what they were called. I keep trying to find some on ebay, but I never have any luck. Do you happen to know what I'm talking about?
Yes! You are thinking of Petite Ponies.
Some had molded hair, others had brushable tails. Some came with little houses or the castle. There was even a set that glowed in the dark.
I recommend The Petite Pocket for more info on these little guys.
I was looking at that coloring book you've been referring to, and I noticed a strange image. The 22nd image, where one pony is feeding a bottle to a little foal. What do you make of that one?
Ha ha ha, look at me going through REALLY OLD ASKS!
Well, a lot of G1 baby pony sets did come with bottles.

Here we have three full size bottles, one smaller bottle (I think Newborn Twins came with that size), two blue spoons (originally came with feeding dishes), two BABY necklaces, a bib, and one of the absolute cutest baby pony accessories, the rolling duckie toy.
One of the ponies I had as a kid came with the duckie, and they’re just awesome. It’s actually made of seven different parts (main body, two axels, and four wheels), which is pretty complex when you think about it. They really roll.
Why does comic #200 not count the fish as an animal? It just seems really strange to me since they ARE animals.
Man, it beats me. I was raised Catholic and during Lent you weren’t supposed to eat meat … but you could eat fish. Always seemed stupid to me. Fish have meat. Fish-meat.
We all know that if the Knave of Hearts stole a jam tart from Majesty she would have turned him into a tart to replace the one that was stolen.
This observation makes me feel good inside, and is undoubtedly 100% accurate.
Hiya, do you know the name of a pale yellow pony with pink, yellow, blue + purple wings with stars below them, purple eyes, & blue, yellow & white hair? Can send u a pic if that helps. Had it as a kid & found it the other day, it was my fave :)
Yes! That is one of the Rainbow Curl ponies, Ringlet. :) The "theme" of the set was that each pony had rainbow colored hair arranged in long curls.
Picture is from My Little Wiki.
Thought you should know that I just ordered Sky Rocket and Star Dancer off of Etsy and this blog's influence is what finally tipped me over the G1 buying edge. I already interned to get Wind Whistler and Masquerade at some point, but I went through your archives and...dammit, how was I supposed to resist sparkly ponies in insane color combos?
*laughter of the evil variety* MWAHAHAHAAAA! This makes me want to dig out a comic with Star Dancer in it that I like to call . . . "The Acid Trip."
