Satin ‘n Lace was included in many mail order brochures over the years, resulting in three different versions of the pony.

^ This is the first version of Satin ‘n Lace, a So-Soft pony as the earliest brochures describe.

^ I believe this was the second version of Satin ‘n Lace. She is the hardest to find of the three.  She’s the exact same pony as the So-Soft version, but without flocking.  The So-Soft ponies typically have very bold colors to compensate for their fur muting their hue.

^ The third version of Satin ‘n Lace is lavender, a softer color to more closely match what the So-Soft pony looked like with flocking.

This is the only instance I can think of a pony going from So-Soft to NSS (non-So-Soft) when they were sold in the same country.  Usually it went the other way... For example, NSS Gusty was released first and sold as So-Soft Gusty the following year.
