Enchanted Kingdom Horses :)
I can’t find any pictures online of a double-pack for Nina and Aloha, but I’m guessing it was in the same style as this. Especially since I have that bracelet (except the heart clasp on mine is pink).
Happy Fakie Friday! Here we have a fakie and a fakie of a fakie.
Rose Princess (white) is an Enchanted Kingdom horse; the green pony is in a shrunken version of her mold with different legs. Also Rose Princess is hard plastic while the green fakie is rubbery.
When I was a little girl, I saw these beautiful Enchanted Kingdom Horses in a two-pack. I begged and begged my mom for them. She was reluctant and said, "Wouldn't you rather have one of those instead?", pointing. I turned around and realized we were in the MLP aisle.
Friends . . . I was filled with regret that I didn't see the My Little Ponies first because I WOULD rather have had one of them. But I felt like I was committed so I said no, I wanted the Enchanted Kingdom Horses.
And that's how I got Nina and Aloha.
Nina is my childhood horse, Aloha is a replacement. Despite not being MLPs, they were friends of the ponies. I loved their saddles, which clip on with a satisfying snap, and their metal chain reins.
