I’ve been really struggling with art block lately, but when I went searching for “Spike & Buffy” reference I couldn’t resist painting this scene, I just love them both so much.

Any Barry fans out there? It’s one of the best shows on television and doesn’t get a fraction of the love and credit it deserves. I don’t think there’s anything more darkly funny out there. Bill Hader shows that he’s an astonishing actor, crazy talented (he writes, produces and directs) and, it turns out, he’s also really good fun to paint!

Giving no spoilers, I have to say last week’s episode of Succession floored me. It’s now alongside The Last of Us ep.3 as the best TV of the year. Everyone working on the show should be very proud 💜

I used a lot of different references for this painting. Hopefully I’ve managed to do these two justice. Bella has such an amazing, expressive face, I definitely want to paint them again.
