christmas surprise - trevor zegras x fem!reader

A/N: i love trevor zegras sooo much!! this is vv short, but i think it’s sweet (sabrina carpenter pun intended)

a single candle flickers on the windowsill, its flame dancing in the stillness. soft, golden glow from the string lights illuminates your figure as you sit on your couch.

the christmas movie playing in the television is long forgotten as you wrap the blanket tighter around yourself, glancing at the empty corner of the couch. you sigh, your bottom lip caught between your teeth.

the photo of smiling faces on the mantle taunts you. yet, you can’t help but stare at it, smiling as you examine trevor’s wide smile. you frown, reaching for your phone to text him, but the messages are still the same as when you looked two minutes ago.

the moon cast a soft glow over my neighborhood as i settled in bed. but just as i close my eyes, a rustling sound outside my window shatters my serenity. with my heart pounding, i sprang out of bed, slowly inching my way over to the window. just as i reach out my hand to open my curtain, trevor’s frame comes into view.

“what are you doing here?” i exclaimed, trying to keep my voice below a whisper. trevor smirks, his silhouette outlined against the moonlit sky.

“i thought it would be romantic if i climbed up here.” he explained, awkwardly trying to fit his muscular body through my small bedroom window. “though, it was harder than i thought.” with a loud thud, the boy lands on my bedroom floor.

i chuckle, “you gave me a heart attack.”

“‘m sorry.” his arms wrap around my body, pulling me into his chest. “just wanted to surprise you, baby.” i inhale, his scent filling my nose— it was addictive.

“it was romantic.” i said as my fingers tangled through his brunette curls. “but next time, maybe try knocking on the front door.” i tease.

“i’ll try to remember that.” he says with a sheepish grin.
