Sabich!!! Israelian-inspired sandwich I've been wanting to try for a while. In this case a whole wheat pita stuffed with roasted cauliflower & eggplant, tomato, pickles, a boiled egg, mango chutney and homemade yogurt garlic sauce. Mega yum 😍🤤
Default lunch still is a hummus-black olive tapenade-and-as-many-veggies-as-you-can-cram on-there sandwich!

When you don't feel like eating salad so you make a sandwich but end up eating salad anyway.
(there's a hummus/pepper and cheese/tomato sandwich underneath all the rocket)

Would I make this again? No. Me and roux ain't best friends. Half of the stuff got stuck to my whisk. By the time I got most of it off, it was cold 😑
It was also kind of bland. And when it cools down, it gets kind of rubbery just like real cheese. I think I would consider making this with vegan carrot/potato 'cheese'.
My random lunch: hummus iceberg lettuce sandwich, nuts & dates, carrot, frozen green peas. And as always during summer: cold steeped green tea! This time it's strawberry flavored 😍

Dead tired after yesterday’s run. Like - not normal. No appetite. Felt like if I’d go home alone I’d binge. Treated myself to lunch @ la place after service.
Ed recovery is… ✔️ Taking the courage to eat alone in a public place ✔️ Acknowledging/accepting which situations are difficult for you and then finding a way to deal with them ✔️ Consciously ordering something that is not 100% healthy ✔️ Doing your best to enjoy every bite (I did! 😀)
