genuinely i think one of my favorite things to communicate with my folks is things we've read. and im not talking like, book books.. but like- my Brother In Law and i were getting drinks and on the way there and back he told me about the current happenings of a fanfic he and my sister are reading together.
and in turn i talked to him about the ones i've been reading. its just.. something so nice to hear people express their enthusiasm for stuff and get to understand.
