people like to talk shit on homeschooling (especially homeschoolers who know first hand how bad it is) but not enough people are looking at the upsides. no no, not the low class sizes and amazing test scores, who cares about that?

SHAME! EMBARRASSMENT! What's the worst thing you can accidentally do in a school? It's call the teacher "mom"!

Homeschoolers are nigh immune to this source of life-long shame, because 99% of the time our teacher IS our mom. So of course we call her "mom".
