Also even if wasps were just aggressive and hostile all the time that would still be admirable and cool because the one and only reason that social wasps have such painful stings is for the protection of the larvae. One mother raises a bunch of daughters so devoted to defending their baby sisters with their lives that they are willing to confront you, literally the size of a Kaiju in comparison, even all alone.
A wasp should be nothing but a universal symbol of bravery and heroism. It's a fairy with a poisoned sword putting herself between her family and a hairy Cthulhu. Frankly all wild animals would deserve that much power to make humans fuck off and it's only a shame that so many can't.
