What’s this? A post? What does that mean?
It means that someone else has made a confessions blog! All confessions that are currently in our askbox will be moved to the new blog. Your anonymity will be preserved. Do not fret! After this post, I will be posting a link to the new blog.
For now, let’s answer the asks that were in our askbox for... months. My apologies.
Once again, thank you for the wonderful years you’ve given us and your confessions. We’ve seen so many beautiful ones (ones that have made me cry, I won’t lie) and seen how people have bonded over these games. Just going through these last 80 confessions had me in tears. You’ve given us so many good years and memories and we had so much fun. We’ve had people coming to us just ask us if we were okay; we’ve had some of you coming to us and pointing out our late night mistakes (mostly mine). Just know that we cared about this blog so much and it does break out heart to leave. The story doesn’t end with us, though, and a new chapter will begin with someone else holding the pen.

Okay, so, remember a few months ago when I said my computer was somewhat working? And I said I would give it a week before starting confessions? It died before the week was up. However, it’s working now but I don’t know how well it'll work. Which leads me to the next announcement.
Admin and I have decided to close harvestmoonconfessions.
It was a lot of fun when we first started the blog (Admin having started it before me), but our time has come. We're here to hang our bonnets and just say goodbye. Please know that we had so much fun with you all. We have good times and bad times, but our followers have always been amazing. Thank you so much for making these years memorable.
What does that mean for the blog name? Well... we’re keeping it? Sorry if that makes us seem selfish. However, if anyone else is thinking of making a confessions blog, let us know!
I will keep the asks open for a while. When (and if) someone decides to make a new confessions blog, please hit us up! The promotion for the new blog will be the last post and, if you’re okay with getting a ton of messages, I’ll be more than happy to send you the confessions we unfortunately couldn’t make. Once someone makes the new blog, the askbox will be closed and this place will be used as an archive of sorts. However, feel free to message me on my personal (shirostightass). And fret not. If you had any questions that are in our inbox, I’ll be sure to answer them in our last questions post before making the promotion post.

So to me, it looks like the SoS: Trio of Towns seems to be the stronger of the two games announced at E3. Im curious to know what your opinion of them is?
I honestly didn’t want to get too involved in this (and Admin is always busy), but I guess I can kinda put my two cents in? Read more because it’s pretty long.
(not a confession) Did you guys hear there is supposedly two new HM games coming out?
By Natsume? If you mean by Natsume then I was not aware. However, I do know that Natsume has a new game coming out and so does Marvelous. In a way, you can consider it two new Bokumono games, but only Story of Seasons is considered a REAL one.
Does that make sense?

My first RF game was RF3 and I fell in LOVE with it! But after playing RF1, and falling in love with that, and going back, it kind of lost its.. luster. Which is weird, since RF3 has such better mechanics! There is just something about it now that I can’t seem to get into. And that makes me a little sad.
Playing RF4, I ended up going after Leon because he looked the most interesting. But as time went on, especially after marriage, I noticed he talks a lot like my IRL husband. I read him a few things Leon said, and he agreed right off the bat they do sound like things he’d say! So now when I’m playing and he says something like that I say stuff like ‘okay sweetie’ and we joke around about it.
My mother was watching me play AnWL and she sometimes gets into the games and makes stupid comments. I went to give Murrey some soup and my mother blurts out “and here is Captain Caveman”. I laughed so hard there were tears in my eyes.
I'm hoping you can help me? I'm trying to trigger nadis pink flower event in story of seasons and it won't trigger. I have all requirements according to fogu but he never goes to that side of town. I'm in summer so not sure if it goes by season? Or does girogio need to be in west side of town? I'm hoping one of you or a follower might know what in doing wrong? I have seen all flower events up to pink and he's red flower. Thank you!

I wish the family would help out around the farm like in Animal Parade again. It was really helpful and saved a lot of time. It also gives another reason to keep playing after marriage.
Full Confession:
I never understood why some girls wanted to marry Carter from FoMT so badly. To me, it seemed like blasphemy that people desired someone from the church… But then, I learned about him and developed this not-so-healthy, shameful kind of… “fetish” for him. I still don’t want to see him as a Bachelor, but the idea of Claire cheating on her husband with him makes me weirdly amused and interested. I sometimes feel awkward being a bit voyeuristic over fictional characters.
I’m playing it and I think Seeds of Memories is rather charming….
Not a confession: I would like to thank the person who sent the ask about wanting disabled people in Harvest Moon. As a disabled person myself, I started playing HM because I wanted to be able to feel like I could do more things, but it would be nice to see myself represented in the series, y'know?

I’ve been playing Animal Parade recently and every time winter rolls around, I make sure that my sheep have a full coat of wool and I never sheer them in that season. I don’t know if this has any effect on their heart levels but I still do it. I care about my sheep too much to let them freeze in the winter season.
Many people seem to dislike Mistel because he is “creepy”. I adore him! In fact, he’s probably the only bachelor in SoS I like. The first time I saw him, I knew I wanted to go after him. The funny thing is that I’m a huge fan of possessive/borderline yandere/yandere characters, and I didn’t even know Mistel fit into that type. I seem to have a force dragging me towards those characters now.
