Hunk is Autistic: The Infinite List of Reasons

  • black-and-white thinking
  • Emotions are either 0 or 100 there is no in between.
  • Hyperempathy
  • Doesn’t understand the concept of personal space
  • Has a hypersensitive sense of balans (accounting for his motion sickness)
  • Math Genius™
  • Processes information differently from the other characters in the show
  • Constant need to point out the obvious
  • Talks out loud constantly, probably to process information easier.
  • Focuses on unusual things (example: the castle is going insane and he focuses on the fact that he just got attacked by food)
  • Likens a base that folds space and time to a calzone (very similar to how I liken real people to characters from books in order to understand them better)
  • Weird metaphors in general
  • Hyperfocused interest in cooking and (probably) mechanics.
  • Cooking and mechanics are also interests that require very logical thinking and are easy to follow and understand because the follow a certain logic to the letter. These kinds of interests tend to be appealing towards autistic people.
  • Always wants very clear instructions
  • Is extremely honest
  • He does this thing where he pulls his arms up tight against his body which is kind of similar to the raptor hands, but is definitely a stim whether it’s that specific one or not.
  • Panics very easily, especially when things aren’t going according to plan (need for routine)

Shiro’s Age

tSince half of y’all can’t accept the fact that he’s an adult 

First off, Shiro is buff as hell. He’s a wall of pure muscle. He’s taller than the other paladins and could probably benchlift them. He doesn’t look like a teen. This is western animation people, the characters look their age.

Secondly the fact that he was on the Kerboros mission. Additionally he’s been on other mission. The Kerboros mission was important, they wouldn’t send an inexperienced pilot. There’s a reason Lance says Shiro was his hero.

Shiro’s also an instructor at the Garrison. He wears an instructors uniform. It would make sense for him to have had experience before he got the job. The Garrison seems to be pretty important. Not to mention that a bunch of the instructors seem to have medals of some sort

So if Shiro is a graduated fully fledged pilot with a medal under his belt and enough experience to teach at the Garrison then it would be reasonable to assume he’s at least 24-25. An adult. Not to mention the fact that he calls Lance and Keith “cadets” like an instructor would. And the fact that he spent another year after that with the Galra, making him 25-26.

OKAY, SO

I really want to make this post to apologize to the younger generation (if some of you guys follow me which I’m sure you do), I don’t post it often like at all BUT I have posted in general like graphics about ////Sheith and stuff and I need to apologize for doing this.

I did not know, at all, until tonight that Shiro is a 25 year old man and Keith is a teenager. THIS. IS. NOT. OKAY!

I apologize to my younger followers for promoting something that is so gross and scary and normalizing it. Adult/minor relationships ARE NOT OKAY, PLEASE!

Stay safe. I’m sorry for promoting something so inappropriate, it won’t be happening again. Have a good night, guys.

I really didn’t expect this post to blow up like it did. I didn’t do this to be lauded, I didn’t do this for mass attention, I did this because I wanted the younger people who followed me to know this isn’t okay. Like a relationship between a teenager and an adult isn’t okay and it never will be. This isn’t even really fucking about Sheith for me (I’m honestly not even that big a fan) it’s about what’s being perceived in mainstream media and then applied in real life situations.

Look, I’m a 21 year old person and I’m telling everyone right now that I WOULD NEVER DATE A 17 YEAR OLD KID! I would not date an 18 year old, I really don’t even think I’d date a 19 year old if I’m being honest. The age range for me, at my current age, would likely be 21-24 (and 24 is me pushing it). I don’t give a shit what states say about the age of consent, states have a lot of dumb legal shit going on but we’re not gonna get into that. 

The point is, Shiro was confirmed to be SOMEWHERE IN HIS 20′S. The rest of the Paladins WERE CONFIRMED TO BE TEENAGERS.

An adult should never be with a teenager. Never. NEVER.

@ my teenage/minor followers: If there is an adult who is trying to flirt with you, please get as far away as you can. Do not give them the time of day. Ignore them, delete them, block them. I mean it when I say I want you all to stay safe.
