the idea of lonnie having a crush on adora during their childhood but she didn’t act on it due to adora and catra’s closeness and knowing that adora would never choose her over catra, so she moves on and falls in another one sided love with force captain scorpia only to see her chasing after and adoring catra as well. Imagine losing both your crushes to the same girl, and the girl in question treated them like shit, and the girl in question treats you like worse shit. Imagine the girl in question being later your boss.

“We’re pretty lucky that the break room is really big. Most of us shrink back to our regular size at lunch time but not on breaks. It takes too long to shrink then back down. I wish the locker rooms were bigger but that’s more of me thing.” Scorpia was naturally beefy and her tail was always scraping against something.

Perfuma's little hesitation and anxious glances to the side as the words "I'm really bad at this" rings in her head.
I think Perfuma has always used forced positivity and seemingly easy fixes (like holding hands and thinking healing thoughts) as a way to hide her insecurities from herself and others. And I think she's got a lot of buried guilt about times when she feels that she has failed to be a true emotional support for someone. Basically that she has a huge impostor syndrome about her status as an emotionally competent person.
When Perfuma says "that's just the old you talking, consumed with all that self doubt the horde instilled in you" she's talking about herself too but she hides it behind qualifying with the horde. I think she's trying to make herself believe that she's confident and capable of helping Scorpia as much as she's trying to do that in itself. It strikes me as quite vulnerable, since she has to chart her way through this conversation with all of these doubts in the forefront of her mind and without retreating into tripe. And I'm glad it worked out for her
They're quite similar in that way, both desperately wanting to help people and express their emotions freely but terribly uncertain about how to do that and not always great at taking the actual needs and wants of the person they're trying to support into account. But this is a moment when Perfuma overcomes that uncertainty which is very nice to see for me and a big step for her character that gives her strenght during the difficult days that follow.
