Once Kata discovers her Force sensitivity, she seeks out Cal’s help with connecting to the Force to find some inner peace (and maybe hear her dad’s voice). However, she hasn’t been meditating since she was a wee baby like Cal when he grew up in the Order, so she has some… difficulty with this particular Jedi lesson.

Bonus when the Force ghost of Cal’s old master comes by for a visit.

If I had a nickel for every time I developed a very strong attachment to a fictional character at a formative time in my life who was an Empire-era Jedi with laser scars on his face, a very unique lightsaber, a connection to wildlife (specifically little fuzzy guys that like to hide in tall grass), and severe abandonment issues, I would have two nickels—which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
