Do you feel bored of the posts asking for help from Gaza? You’re right, but imagine our situation as we live this war day after day for 13 months. Do you think we’re tired too?!!

Asking for help is not easy; it’s very embarrassing, especially for a family that used to live a decent life. My husband and I completed our university education with distinction, worked in respectable jobs, and were used to helping others, not asking for help. But the war has turned our lives into a nightmare; we lost our home, our sources of income, and even our ability to provide the simplest of needs.

I'm Hanan. For the past 13 months, we have been struggling to get healthy food and medicine for my child, whose weak body was attacked by infection, and for my elderly mother-in-law, who fell into a coma for several days and almost lost her life due to anemia caused by our inability to provide healthy food, as prices have risen more than 10 times. Now, we have run out of everything. While you are reading my message, my family and I are trying to survive amidst all kinds of suffering.

What was once a beautiful dream and reality has now become a nightmare. Starvation is one thing, but starving, freezing, and being forced to flee in the middle of the night when tanks suddenly arrive in your area, running for your life and your family’s life under fire, leaving behind everything you built over the years, and returning after 5 months of suffering in displacement and tents to find that your home, where you lived your happiest moments, is nothing but rubble, is something completely different! 💔😓

Can you feel my broken heart now? Can you imagine what I’m going through at this moment? Everything I am living now cannot be described with words, and every moment here is filled with pain and fear. We desperately need your help, as we live in hope of escaping Gaza to save our lives and live safely away from the explosions.

You might feel powerless to stop this genocide, but you can certainly save my family. We appeal to your compassionate hearts to help us escape this catastrophe, which the human mind cannot even fathom.

A Call for Help Amidst the Devastation in Gaza

My name is Hanan Al-Salout, a Palestinian mother and children's counselor. I write to you today with a heart heavy with indescribable pain and sorrow, due to the loss and destruction my family has faced as a result of the war.💔😢

The relentless violence has taken everything from us our home, our livelihoods, and even the sense of safety we once had. I lost my job, and my husband He lost his job too is fighting with all his strength to keep our family standing amid unbearable suffering. 💔😓

But the greatest pain is seeing my little child, Yaseen, who is not even two years old, live in constant fear. Every day he wakes up to the horrors of war, sheltered by a torn tent that no longer protects us from the cold or the wind. 💔

My elderly mother-in-law is also suffering, as the catastrophic conditions of the war exceed her weak body's ability to endure, causing her to suffer from anemia and severe weakness, leaving her in a pitiable state! 😢💔

Winter storms have destroyed the last bit of shelter we had, leaving us exposed to the harsh elements. We have sold everything we own,

Now all we have left are our prayers and hope that your compassionate hearts will hear our plea.

This war has turned into an extermination of innocent families, children, and dreams. We live each day in fear of becoming another number in the growing list of casualties. 😢

Winter has arrived

And all we have is our worn-out tent that barely withstands the biting cold, frost, and rain! 😓💔 Day after day, my child is exposed to the harsh cold in this tent until illness has taken over his small body. An ear, throat, and chest infection make the pain unbearable, and all he can do is cry and scream in helplessness and endless pain. 😢💔

We’ve provided him with the necessary medical care 💉💊 but our urgent need now is to rent a house or even just a room to shelter our exhausted bodies. The war, which has lasted a year, has left us with nothing but one setback after another, each worse than the last. We are now in a situation no one would envy, living at the mercy of the harsh winter and the unforgiving conditions of war. All we hope for is a safe shelter that can protect us from the cold and illness!

Save my child Yaseen from a painful fate amidst the genocide that is destroying the homes of innocent families and children. 💔 We live in a worn-out tent that neither protects us from the rain nor shields us from the bitter winter cold. 🌧️ Every night, Yaseen shivers in my arms, his small body unable to endure the freezing temperatures. How can an innocent child live in such conditions? 😔 How can he sleep, surrounded by cold and the rain seeping in?

We live in a state of constant fear and terror. 😟 I cannot protect him from this nightmare alone. 🆘 We appeal to every compassionate heart to lend us a helping hand, to provide us with what can save our lives and the lives of our children. 🙏
