LEWIS || The Great and the Good
CASINO ROYALE (2006) dir. Martin Campbell, adapted from the novel Casino Royale by Ian Fleming
Fandom for the ask game: Daniel Craig Era James Bond
- my favorite female character: m!
- my favorite male character: i like tanner a lot! i'm glad he features a bit more in those films, because i think he's a great character generally ☺️
- my favorite book/season/etc: casino royale! it sticks reasonably close to the og book, and i just think that the later films in particular are trying a bit too hard to become more arthouse rather than tied to the books they're based on, and i would love it if they got back to releasing them every 2 years instead of one every 5 if we're lucky
- my favorite cast member: daniel craig!
- my favorite ship: bond/vesper! i like the tragedy of it all
- a character I’d die defending: i'm not sure really, is it bad that nobody immediately springs to mind? 🙈
- a character I just can’t sympathise with: probably q? i love desmond llewelyn's portrayal of him, so really it would take a lot for anyone to be as good as him for me
- a character I grew to love: dench!m, i guess? i didn't really have much of an opinion on her either way when i first watched the brosnan films, but i think she's pretty cool now
- my anti otp: bond/q... and i feel a bit guilty for this, given that the rest of the fandom ships it - but i just don't really get it? bond/felix i can see a bit more why people ship that, but him and q just doesn't quite make sense to me really, idk 🤷🏻♀️
One of those ‘pick two pills’ things but it’s things I actually want
how about we do that thing where you give me a show/movie/fandom and I’ll tell you:
- my favorite female character
- my favorite male character
- my favorite book/season/etc
- my favorite episode (if its a tv show)
- my favorite cast member
- my favorite ship
- a character I’d die defending
- a character I just can’t sympathize with
- a character I grew to love
- my anti otp
and, knowing me, I’ll probably explain why
silliest girl award
love it when i find a decent documentary on a topic i'm teaching at work which teaches me more about it ☺️

And actually we all live on a planet that's going to be ravaged by climate change on account of America's absolute and cowardly surrender to big oil.

Were both your parents 35+ when you were born?
fucking classic how one of my year 9s graffitied one of my tables (clearly done during my lesson with him on friday) and incriminated himself because said graffiti is his snapchat username, which has his first name and first initial of his last name in it 😂
