Chapter 8 of AGaSC is up - just in time for my birthday!
I'll be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter, but I really can't sit on it any longer. It's 5,000 words and I already cut 2,000 over to the next chapter.
Let me know what you think; is it missing something? Or is it some sort of issue with me reading my own writing?

It has been a busy few weeks! We had a wedding and an out-of-state trip, plus kiddos out of school so I haven't been as deep into my writing as I'd like to be.
BUT
Chapter 8 is looking good and should be up by the end of the week. Thankfully it's the part of the story that got me started back into fanfiction, so it's already been just hanging out in my drive.
Excited to share more of Enelya's story with you all!
Chapter 6 of AGaSC is up on AO3! So excited to have gotten to this point; Enelya finally reunites with Halsin. Now we can have some fun.

Todaaaay's the daaaay!
We finally got another controller....so my husband and I get to play co-op BG3!
I'm very excited to spend time exploring the world that brought us together. We got to know each other through a D&D campaign with our friends; he was our DM (and yes, alllllll the jokes have been made about this).
Gonna make my chaotic good hermit gnome from our final campaign and just go nuts.
Our first foray into the world of Baldur's Gate was, of course, hilarious.
My husband giggled his way through character creation, making a halfling bard named Riclan that looks eerily like my great uncle Jimmy. Then I joined in and made Carlin, a happy-go-lucky, neurodivergent gnome who has spent much of her life living as a hermit in the woods.
We didn't realized we picked anagramic names until it was too late.

You guys have no idea how glad I am to be done with this chapter...again, it's a lot of exposition and talking about Shadow Druids, making sure the characters know what's going on, all that fun stuff.

I feel like I can breathe again. Chapter 4 is FINALLY coming along and making sense. It's a bit mashed up and mostly exposition/explanation....so a bit boring, but a necessary step if I don't want it to just be, "The tieflings were saved, they met Wyll, then went and defeated the goblin camp, yay party!"

I just finished writing Chapter 3 of 'A Great and Sudden Change' and I'm exhausted. 4500 words and didn't even cover all the stuff I thought I would. Moving on to editing this evening; I plan to have it up before the holiday weekend (Labor Day if you aren't in the U.S.)
