If Juno Steel was a visual media, do you think that during the Monster’s Reflection, Juno would be depicted at his current age, or as the same age as Benten?
Because like either option would be textually meaningful.
Like an older Juno would show how he had to continue without Benten, and could add to the themes of grief and acceptance. It would also be a visual indicator of the distance between Benten and Juno — how one got to grow up and the other didn’t, as well as how different their perspectives on and actions regarding Sarah Steel was.
On the other hand, showing Juno as the same age as Benten would show how Juno still feels like a helpless kid who is powerless against the presence of Sarah in his life, even after she is long gone from the picture, and how he needs to process his memories of her and Takano. Like how Benten’s death really shook things up for him and how he feels like he isn’t moving forward from it.

If TMA were to ever get a tv show adaptation, my ONE requirement is that even though everything else is live action, Michael Distortion is entirely animated, and is animted by a completely different person in every shot, in a completely different art style and even different mediums.
Helen, on the other hand, must be done by different people too, however each artist must do their absolute best to match each others styles, so that the chages are so subtle you can almost imagine they arent really there
