Make this easy DIY Hooded Cape using 1 to 1 ½ yards of fabric. You can use a tablecloth, curtains, etc… as fabric.

There is both a written and video tutorial for this easy to sew cape.

About the DIY Hooded Cape:

A cape is a staple part of anyone’s costume wardrobe.  Add a hood and you have a piece that can be used for more then just costumes.  Red riding hood, dark witch, the guy from Assassin’s Creed, a cloister monk or nun, etc…

DIY Witch Spell Book Printable from Chicabug. The Crafty Witch’s Enchanted Book of Spells Potions and Everything Magical. I especially like the back cover: A Witch’s Work is Never Done.  This printable started out as a custom order and she then made it available in this antique finish and also with a plain white background. *If you like this, download it now because from experience printables just seem to disappear.
