Can you imagine the type of trainwreck things would be if Demona raised Angela. Poor girl would be in therapy for the rest of her life.
Remember the blond lady that Goliath kicked in the third episode. Realistically she should have never gotten up again. All her organs would've been mush and her spine probably snapped in half.
Honestly. Elisa and Fox as frenemies is utterly underutilized. I want to see these two get into ridiculous hijinks. I want Fox to look at Elisa, grab her by the shoulders and go "come on, Maza, don't you just wanna go apeshit sometimes?" And Elisa just being, absolutely done with her while trying to hold on to her moral compass and Fox's is like - Whoops! I accidentally committed a felony!
And Elisa's like 😑 you did that on purpose.
Honestly, Goliath's character probably wasn't meant to be for a children's cartoon. Did people forget he straight up tried to merc a few people and with good cause. I think the writers tried to tone it down a bit, because I guess they don't want their child audience to look up to a character that is essentially gargoyle conan the barbarian.
I still love the show, but, um, yeah -
Tell me I’m wrong though.
I really love this Goliath.
Goliath and Elisa in Gargoyles: Season 2
Hooray! Finally got around to putting my Amanda Conner prints in a (slightly less terrible) frame!
The images are from the Gargoyles comics by Marvel (Way before Disney actually owned them lol). They’re both 11″x17″ and signed by the artist.
I got these bad boys approximately 1,000 years ago when I met Miss Conner at Dragon*Con. What a talent (and a very nice person)!
Now to find a place of honor on the wall…
New official art of Goliath!

A moment of clarity on a rainy day. Samual H. Boardman Natural Bridges, Oregon Coast [OC][4000x6000]
Let's be real here, Hudson would hate the idea of flightless birds. He's like - what do you mean they can't fly, they've got wings don't they?
Elisa: Penguins aren't built for flight, their bodies aren't meant for it.
Hudson: But, they're birds, lass, they're supposed to fly.
Elisa: Not all birds.
Like it wouldn't compute to Hudson. Just like - how. Why?
Elisa: Evolution.
Hudson: The what now?
I don't know why, but I keep writing Elisa suffering from some kind of mental health issues, namely depression in my fics. But, she's always deep in denial about there anything being wrong even though everyone knows something wrong.
Goliath confronts her about it.
Goliath: Elisa, you need help.
Elisa: [ Holding up their half-human gargoyle baby] Do you think a depressed person can make this? No. They can't, I'm not depressed.
Also Elisa: lounging on the couch, feeding her baby her bottle as she eats powdered donuts for breakfast. She's drinking red koolaid straight out of the pitcher. She hasn't bathed in three days, hasn't been outside for longer as watches Sanford and son reruns over and over again.
Also Elisa: I don't why everyone thinks there's a problem.
