Hinata is about to do something truely amazing.... I can feel it
I am so happy. Hinata has been feeling frustrated and targeted and almost worthless this game. He hasn't been getting many points. He was thinking how Kageyama might not toss to him anymore because of all this. But instead, he gets the best kind of set. One where Hinata gets to fight. He is so relived and joyous to see this kind of set from his partner. In his eyes, this is Kageyama saying, 'it's up to you now, I belive in you'.

Yachi has really only seen Kageyama and Hinata do quick attacks (like first, zero or minus tempo) , I believe this is the first third tempo she has seen from these two.
Kageyama is allowing Hinata the opportunity to take a breath. The break neck pace has been paused. He is a setter. He is giving his spuker a chance to spike more freely. He is letting Hinata fight midair battles. Kageyama just created an incredible opportunity for Hinata. And I am reminded of the first year training camp, when Hinata gave Hyakuzawa the advice to send the ball up high, so it gives him a chance to stop the fast pace of the game, and make it more manageable.
Ok I need a second. This brings me back to Kageyama. Back when he was the Tyrant King. He was demanding more more faster jump height go move move. Hinata seems to be getting caught up in this break-neck pace Nekoma has set. With speed comes mistakes and Hinata is falling right into this trap. Hinata is demanding from himself the same thing Kageyama once demanded from others.
