A Capitan's Pride

Kita just wanted to play, because he loves the game so much.

He is the captain. He takes a great deal of pride in his teammates' abilities, because he is a part of the team, he is the leader of the team, and maybe he imparted some wisdom to them. So for every victory, every point his team makes, it reflects back on him.

Now is when the emotions come. I bet he normally spent talk to sappy like this. Kita is a pretry straight forward guy. To have him say this, means he 100% feels this way.

And his team, respects him so much, the essentially promise to him, he will always be their captain. Kita will always be the one behind every and any amazing moments. Because without Kita's leadership, they wouldn't be as skilled as they are. So, for Kita, he is able to feel the captain's pride forever.

Because he keeps getting blocked. And Kageyama has become the setter to agree and alter his sets for the spikers, always saying yes of course.

But this is Tanaka, mentally strong Tanaka asking for this.

And then in the panel, there is Atsumu. He called Kageyama a goodie two shoes setter. He plays it safe. Always catering to the spiker, asking how he can improve and then changing his set. Kageyama doesn't really push the spikers beyond their limits, not anymore. Recently he has started to, like when he made Tsukishima jump highers bit that was only because Kagyama knew Tsukishima was slacking off. He doesn't ask more than what they are capable of. His time at Kitagawa changed him in that regard. He wants to be a setter like Oikawa, who brings out the best in the spikers.

But Kageyama is putting his foot down. He knows what Tanaka is capable of. He will not cater to Tanaka's request, not this time.
