Mina, Did you ask a question at the Stephen and David panel in England? If so, do you recall what you asked and what they answered?
Hey! I did ask questions to both Stephen and David at the City of Heroes con. For their joint panel, I asked what their most difficult scene was to film with Emily, emotionally. They both said that Emily was great to work with but Stephen said if there was one scene in particular it was probably the 3x09 goodbye scene. And in Stephen’s first solo panel, I asked him how fatherhood has changed him, and he said it made all the long journeys and all the hard work he did worth it. :D
The lovely ah-maa-zing linked me to an audio only version and you can hear my question about 7 minutes in, I think. (I’m the one thanking them for signing my fanfic, hehe.) Apologies for my voice, though. (Seriously, I hate hate hate the sound of my own voice when it’s recorded in ANYTHING, ughhhh. Literally to the point that I can’t even bring myself to listen to my question, lol.)
In that panel, I also remember Stephen and David singing, which was just GLORIOUS.
God, David and Stephen singing Ebony and Ivory was the greatest thing I never witnessed! Where's the commercial of them singing this for Arrow? Talk about a great promo tactic, Oliver and Diggle at the piano and shit! STAVID FEELS!!!!

I forgot to link this up here but I did tweet it yesterday. Someone kindly uploaded the AUDIO-ONLY version of Stephen and David’s panel from City of Heroes in Birmingham, back in May.
It is AWESOME and definitely worth checking out. The entire thing is insightful, loving, and so funny your sides hurt. We were all in awe of these two wonderful human beings.
I’m still waiting for someone to upload a damn video, although sadly I think no one captured a full-length one.

Also, they were pretty strict about video recordings - there were Rogue Events stewards everywhere, and I didn’t get want to get caught, lol, especially if that meant being kicked out, so I just took a ton of pics instead. :D

I better reblog this tbh because it’s kind of a long story and I love talking about it. I was at city of heroes (read the whole thing here) back in may and at her panel I was gonna ask a question and i was like ‘’i just wanted to say that your portrayal of sara sort of helped me realize that i’m bisexual? so there’s that?’’ and the audience clapped and she did this cute lil fist pump and said something about how that was so cool to hear and honestly she seemed pretty touched and it was amazing. and then the day after i had a signing with her and i told her that was me at the panel the day before and that i wanted to thank her face to face and she went on this SUPER LONG RANT aBOUT HOW I SHOULD JUST BE MYSELF AND WHAT A BIG DEAL IT IS THAT I’VE REACHED THIS POINT AND THAT AS LONG AS I STAY TRUE TO MYSELF AND AS LONG AS I SURROUND MYSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM EVERYTHING WOULD BE ALRIGHT. And like, if you wanna change something, do it, but do it for yourself and never for anyone else. HONESTLY she kept going for like a solid minutes and i was IN TEARS. anyway, it was amazing. she’s amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
ahhhh, I remember being super happy and cheering like really loudly when you said that at the panel :) I mentioned to Caity when she was signing autographs and she said it's not the first time someone's said that it's because of Sara that they've realised something about their sexuality.
And what great advice! Caity is the BEST. Not to mention her eyebrows are just perfect up close
fwiw, I was at the City of Heroes convention and he sang with David Ramsey and I thought he sounded great. Buuuut I was probably biased, lol. (Not to mention totally starstruck from his hug and kiss in my photo op…)

The kiss was only on my head, lol. (And I am so not a touchy-feely person so I ordinarily wouldn’t be that comfortable with it but I asked because it’s Stephen.) But he is like six foot tall and I’m barely five feet so I could feel the height difference :D
And according to other con goers, unless you didn’t want to, he realllllllly went in for the hug every time. HE SMELLS AMAZING JSYK.
(And yes it was Ebony and Ivory. The audience went crazy when they started singing, lol.)

sometimes I feel super sad and then I remember that stephen amell hugged me, kissed me on the head, read my fanfic, said “that’s awesome”, said “look at you now” (when I was telling him how the show had saved me after I had a really rough time last year) and that I told him I loved him and he smiled the most gorgeous perfect smile back at me and everything is okay again.

Awww, thanks :) The fanfic I got him to sign was Speak From the Heart, which is a missing scene from 3x17 where Oliver does a best man speech and basically moons over Felicity the entire time. And he is then interrogated by Thea about Felicity which is always fun :D
Let me know if you want me to tag you in my next fic (obviously presuming you like this one, lol). I mostly write smut nowadays, though.
