I love love love them. I love how there was this grudging respect built up between the two of them ever since ray took a beating for mick in the gulag and mick couldn’t leave ray behind. since then I’ve shipped them but I also especially like their interactions in s2 of lot. can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

#JUST SHATTER MY HEART INTO A THOUSAND PIECES AGAIN WHY DON'T YOU#this scene fucking broke me#i'm so incredibly proud of alex for being so brave#AND MAGGIE KISSED HER BACK!!!!#and alex was leaning in for another kiss!!!!!#but maggie realised that it wasn't the right time for them#they both have things that they need to work through before they can be together and it work#maggie has literally just gotten out of a relationship#with someone who said some pretty fucking shitty things about her when she left#and alex is still working out who she is#but on top of her break up#maggie doesn't know if what alex feels is real#maggie doesn't know if alex actually wants to be with /her/ or if alex is just testing the waters#and so she's trying to give them both time to figure things out#and i'm fucking heartbroken that alex is so hurt#but that was never maggie's intention#that was never what she wanted to do#she did what she thinks is right for both of them#and as heartbroken as i am#i'm glad it went this way#because they're actually going to get time to build a relationship#and it's going to be fucking beautiful (by @nyssalghul)
#this is all i am going to talk about for the rest of the week #i apologize in advance but i’m not really sorry #because look at alex being bold and going after what she wants #and maybe it was the wrong call - she probably should have checked first if it was okay to kiss maggie #and it’s hard to read the signs when you like someone so much and they are friends and do they like you that way#it’s especially hard when you just figure out hey this is what i like and i have been suppressing it my entire life #and maggie man - props to her for letting alex down as gently as she could because it’s not that she isn’t attracted to alex #it’s that she JUST got out of a relationship and she doesn’t want to shepherd a baby gay in her own relationship #like it’s fine to do that for your friends but for your partner you want someone who is your equal #and so i don’t blame her for not wanting that from alex for herself and also looking out for alex #alex deserves to be more than a rebound and maggie deserves to have an equal - but i look forward to the time where they realize that #alex has a ridiculous learning curve and here’s my favorite trope okay- when two people are just meant to be but the timing isn’t right #and they both have to grow as individuals - but they do it together and are there for each other still #when two people are fighting their attraction because the timing isn’t right for them to be in a relationship so they wait a little bit #they wait until they’re sure or until they can’t anymore because it doesn’t make sense to hold back or simply because they CAN’T NOT care so #deeply for each other that in the end all that sort of fades away and they say FUCK IT - LET’S FIGURE THIS SHIT OUT TOGETHER #like i am ALL for the slow burn you guys and i am LOVING EVERY SECOND OF THIS #because it isn’t that they aren’t compatible or attracted to each other but it’s just TIMING #and i can’t wait to see it when they get to that place #it’s gonna happen - i can just feel it because maggie was just so gentle and caring with alex in all this #that you just know alex is going to get under her skin because how can you not love alex danvers and her big fucking heart that inspires #SUPERGIRL herself to be tough and smart and caring and loving and loyal and fierce and brave and GOOD #you just can’t okay? no one can resist loving alex fucking danvers forever and maggie’s already half way there#i cannot fucking WAIT for all of this (via @dealanexmachina)
