- They actually meet for the first time at a local bar because Laurel comes there to pick up her father and Nyssa is dating the cute bartender.
- Later Laurel realizes that the cute bartender’s girlfriend is in her Psychology class.
- They go out for coffee afterward and then it becomes a weekly sort of thing.
