...I’m gonna go ahead and assume this is a joke because lmaoooo how can you possibly be telling me to hate felicity, a jewish woman who has been treated really badly by the narrative in a lot of ways (and no, screentime =/= fair treatment when she’s literally been put in a gas chamber and has also been shot to the point of paralysis all for a bit of white manpain) when she is badass and rocks my socks and hasn’t done anything to make me angry except shitty writing (which yes I will happily blame marc for). ralph and manhell, meanwhile, are white dickbags who aren’t held accountable for the way they treat women, so yeah, I will hate on them all I want. I trust exactly two (2) white men on tv and they are both called john (reese and jaqobis). 

like - you do you anon and hate whoever the fuck you want, but don’t come into my inbox telling me who I should express my dislike for esp when it sounds like you’re defending two pieces of very stale white bread.

between that and the fact that i was really, really unimpressed with the show's treatment of its characters of color this season? nah. i'm pretty sure i'm not watching season 4. 2/2

MOOD, anon. like I really hated how zari was treated this season, esp after all the promises about how this wouldn’t be stereotypical and it would be consciously more mindful of how muslims are treated in the west. but ofc marc “my sister-in-law is muslim and therefore I can’t be islamaphobic” guggenheim won’t ever be able to see how he goes wrong in the shows he runs. *sigh* and yeah like I just felt like this whole season was a big joke except it wasn’t funny, not even a little bit. 

yup, at a meet and greet at coh2 2016. I asked her about laurel’s relationship with nyssa and if she would have been down for laurel being bisexual. she said she was totally here for it, and that the writers were intending on going down the romantic route. katie was only hesitant because of nyssa’s history with sara, but in any case the writers changed their minds anyway. but irrespective of that she was down for laurel being bisexual because she knows how important representation is, especially after playing a couple of wlw characters (in a movie and a tv show I think?) before.

the writers probably didn’t go ahead with it for similar reasons, but I just think it’s really sad that laurel was deprived of a romantic storyline with anyone other than a straight white guy who seriously mistreated her and another straight white guy who treated her better but who is now dead. even if she wasn’t going to get with nyssa she could have had something with cisco, or joanna earlier on. there was potential for a fair few different relationships and it’s because of these trash writers and especially guggenheim that we were deprived of that.

I haven’t, but big fucking mood, anon. guggenheim and kreisberg can both choke as far I’m concerned. their shitty executive decisions have meant characters have been assassinated both figuratively and literally. kreisberg is almost definitely the reason why ralph exists as he does on flash and why mon el was so awful on sg. so yeah. I feel this post a lot even if I haven’t seen it lol.
