Who offers to get rid of the evidence and body whenever the other starts complaining about someone: Laurel will joke about how she’s a lawyer and can get rid of the evidence and hide the body. But Felicity is 100% serious when she offers to do some hacking and super virus using on whoever Laurel’s complaining about.
Who shows up at the other’s house with food and movies when the other is having a bad day: They both do this for each other. Laurel will usually get all the food and Felicity will pick out the movies. They spend the night in their pj’s.
Who sends the other tons of videos/phone game requests: Felicity Smoak af. Laurel thought she was annoying with all the requests, but Felicity has her beat by far - game invites, funny Vines, youtube TED talks, silly cat videos, a compilation of street footage of the Black Canary doing the canary cry, etc. Laurel’s just like “Felicity, I love you for thinking of me, but I can’t have my phone blowing up in the middle of a trial. Especially not with a ‘Best Close-Ups of Black Canary’s Ass’ video.”
Who glares at the other til they sit down and eat: Normally it’d be Laurel, but it’s actually Felicity. Laurel can get too wrapped up in work and training, and Felicity will just glare and use her angry voice until Laurel sits down to eat a proper meal. “And no, an energy bar does not count, Laurel! I know you argue for a living, but don’t fight me - you are eating now.”
Who stands behind the other and signals to the person arguing with their friend that if the person hurts their friend then they will hunt the person down: Laurel stands behind Felicity. Either way she’s scary af, cause Lawyer Laurel looks like she can kill you using just her words and Black Canary Laurel is twirling her tonfa around like a fucking boss. Plus she will literally canary cry your ass through a wall if you mess with her girl, so there’s that.
Who starts the war on stealing food from the other: Felicity will very subtly take something from Laurel’s plate. Ofc Laurel notices, but she’s all “Oh do you want some? Here, there’s plenty.” Between Thea and Sara, Laurel is very cool with sharing her food.
Who comes up with the bad ideas that they will regret in the morning and who stops them/goes with them to keep them from getting into too much trouble: Such a toss up tbh. They both have their moments, let’s be real. But they will also always have each other’s backs. So if Laurel is off to do something risky, Felicity is right there to cover her. And if Felicity has a potentially dangerous plan that she wants to try out, Laurel will have her back. #SameTeamAF
