before i read the kyoshi novels i’d heard vague impressions of some character named Rangi who was Kyoshi’s firebending trainer, and that she was really hotheaded. what i didn’t know until i’d read the books for myself was that she always gets so damn mad that she drives herself to tears. Rangi is really tough, but she’s also a massive crybaby, which is what made me love the character

traveling with kyoshi was clearly very stressful so i don’t blame her one bit
