Best stay indoors, Outlander.
Dwarves are short, powerfully built, with presumably a strong circulatory system and a culturally strong warrior ethos as well as a cultural tradition of strong and intricate craftsmanship. All of these factors make them ideal jet fighter pilots.
Oh, SHIT, and then that leads to Dwarven astronauts? Good with the cramped conditions, modules that are designed to let the astronauts get their hands into the wiring if they needed to, rugged designs, less likely to go stir crazy if they don't get out in the open air. They'd be incredible.
Gandalf: If the beacons of Gondor are lit, Rohan must be ready for war! Théoden: Tell me. Why should we ride to the aid of those who did not come to ours? What do we owe Gondor?

I love the message and artstyle but did they have to give the cute lovable gator depression? T^T carry on lil buddy, this too shall pass
The gator is the whole point. It's a stand-in for the author that has felt the need to suppress the aspects of themself that others find unappealing, their anger, their sadness, the things people find abrasive or just "weird" in order to make themself more digestible for the people around them because the alternative is to be alone. The gator is only "cute" and "lovable" because it was not allowed to be anything else.
Running with the burrito I just got (stole) from Chipotle while a HATER cop tries to catch me:

Still my favorite strip on the internet.
Yknow that post about that person watchin Parasite expecting there to be an actual flesh parasite monster.
Well I was readin “Invisible Man” by Ralph Ellison, which is a good book about a man tryna find his way in a world that doesn’t want him after his entire life plan fuckin falls apart (the invisibility in this case is metaphorical).
And I was NOT reading “THE Invisible Man” by H.G. Wells (which does in fact star an actually invisible man)
So I’m readin like ‘damn, this dude fuckin goin through it! The groups of power present truly do not see him as the man he is, but rather what they wish him to be! Making him, metaphorically, invisible!
…
And then he’s actually gonna turn invisible!!!!”
one of the most challenging skills i've had to learn as an adult is the art of figuring out whether i'm proportionally annoyed with someone or just tired and overstimulated and looking for reasons to be pissed off
congratulations to the only post i've ever had breach 100k notes without any real discourse or fighting, just a lot of people wearily going, oh, god, same
Sometimes I feel like I'm way too mean towards Skyrim like it's still a decently fun game, not every RPG needs to be a deep boundary-pushing roleplaying experience, and it clearly resonated with people for a reason, but then I remember how much the thieves guild initiation quest pisses me off and how much of a microcosm of the game's approach to player agency it is and I think that actually no, I'm not mean enough to it.
You get given your little initiation quest and then if you succeed you get to join, and if you fail you get to join too anyway, and if you leave and don't even try to do it you get to join too because the game is fucking terrified of ever telling the player "no" in a way that locks them out of any content. A "roleplaying" game that becomes completely allergic to letting the player's actions have any impact if said impact would in any way interfere with the player's ability to Experience Content.
Straight up one of the most memorable parts of my first playthrough of Morrowind was trying to join the imperial legion and being rejected bc I didn't meet the minimum requirements in any of their preferred skills and having to spend a while actually training so that they'd let me join.
