Apparently to a sasusaku shipper that I was arguing with. They said that the reason as to why ss is so bad and toxic is because of Itachi. I’m just like yep it is Itachi’s fault that Sasuke calls Sakura annoying. Its is his fault that Sasuke tried to kill her (out of defense). It is definitely Itachi’s fault that Sasuke kept on rejecting Sakura. Let’s not forget how it is Itachi’s fault that Sasuke left Sakura for over a decade to take care of their “child” Sarada all by herself despite being able to perfectly come “home”. Itachi was the one that made Sasuke act the way he did towards Sakura despite respecting Naruto and team taka during All of this. All Itachi’s fault even though he had no idea who Sakura was as well as the fact that Sakura is one of the main reason that the ship is shit.

I know Itachi caused Sasuke to be traumatised. He is the main reason that Sasuke had a pretty messed up kind. But seriously we all know the real reason as to why ss is the way it is. Sasuke has been annoyed of Sakura and every other fangirl since I don’t know when. Come on seriously like do ss shippers even read the same manga or watch the same anime as is over the years? Probally not which is why everything that has to do with ss is fanart and fan fiction.
I couldn’t even continue with that individual. Their delusion was taken to a whole nother level with that bs. It’s delusion like this that sasusaku will never ever be taken seriously by me ever. It do not know what type of goggles the extremist use, but they really need to take it off because their reason are getting more and more out of control.
i know you're really hate Naruto ending n new generations and i've gotten information the Naruto new generations will continue in another project or whatever Kishi want. And i just wanna know if older Sasuke (in new generations) meet again with Itachi? I mean if Itachi be reanimated again by another villain and Sasuke reunite with him again after more than 15 years, what do you think Sasuke's reaction?
I think kishi is a greedy bastard so I’m not surprised if he’s planning another project.
A scenario of older Sasuke meeting again with Itachi is the main idea of a fanfiction I wrote, where Sasuke, unhappy with his adult life, realizing he has been manipulated into being a Konoha pawn and guilt-tripped into marrying someone he doesn’t care about, reanimates Itachi because he’s the only one he ever wanted.
I’m mentioning this because when I read gaiden I saw Sasuke as disheartened, bored, absent from both his wife/family and Naruto and not attached to Taka or Orochimaru either, which made me think of when he said “I don’t look to the future any more. Only the past”. For how I see everything happened in both ending and gaiden, without calling out OOCness and bad writing (that are evident anyway) even if he is not mentioned in the whole thing, once again the only one who has a place in his heart was and is Itachi.
As much as Sasuke is a Konoha shinobi in new stuff he is still a loner, an outsider. Protecting the village from afar, staying away from it, makes me think that he is not comfortable there, and he has every reason for it, since he never got justice and the truth was never revealed. When in chapter 698 Sasuke said he lost, looking at how the story went on he really did at a deeper level. Like the time he asked Taka to help him find Itachi because he couldn’t do it alone and he needed their abilities, this time he thought Naruto would have helped him build the world Itachi dreamt of, but this never happened. His friend got the Hokage seat and the system stayed the same. Sasuke has been defeated not just in his final fight but in everything else.
But you ask about Itachi being reanimated by a villain and Sasuke meeting him…well, I think that it would be utterly shocking for Sasuke to see his brother used as a pawn from some villain, if Itachi hasn’t freed himself already somehow, as he did with Kabuto’s Edo Tensei.
Sasuke would want to free him from said villain and have his soul be at peace….but mostly he would want to have Itachi with him, he would want to spend time with his beloved brother whom fate and a shitty system stole from him too early, too cruelly. 15 years of separation haven’t made his love for his brother fade, his feelings are too strong to fade no matter how much time passes. His heart is always with Itachi anyway.
Itachi is the one Sasuke’s life has always revolved around, in good and in bad he has been his model, motivation, his lifetime goal, his ideal. Not just that. Itachi has been the only one who told him no matter what he’d do he’ll always love him. He could choose for himself because no matter what he would choose to do in his life Itachi would love him. Sasuke would be loved unconditionally no matter if he chooses a right or wrong path. This is incredibly different from anything anyone else ever told him. For once Sasuke is not asked to conform to a path, to be loyal to someone or something.
What’s most important, Sasuke loves Itachi more than anything and anyone. He would never want to let him go, no matter how he got there, no matter if he is reanimated, a dead man.
As he told Itachi when he met him in the woods “I don’t care about that, now you are in front of my eyes”.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to tag this with all the anti- I can think of, before someone gets butthurt of me writing in my own blog my own opinion, not even on my choice but because someone else asked for it.
Since many people have asked me why do I hate Itachi, I’ve decided to write about it. This will be a really long image-heavy rant, so be warned. Also, if you like Itachi, I suggest you don’t read this. I’m not answering.
Illumi was definitely abusive to Killua but Togashi never presented him as a good guy and certainly never wanked like Kishimoto did with Itachi. I also agree with you about the retcon; IMO its because Togashi didn’t want to make it look like Killua abandoned Alluka without feeling guilty which is interesting to contrast with Kishimoto apparently not realizing that having Itachi brutally abuse Sasuke makes it hard to see him as one of the goosd guys. Perhaps thats the reason for the wank; he thinks people will see him as a hero and good brother if he repeats it anough.

kishi has a hard on for Itachi, he has some perfect genius elder brother fantasy. Have you watched YYH? actually I think Kishi was trying give Itachi Kurama’s characterization, wise, witty and calm. but of course he can’t write any of those things.
Afaik Itachi was the only character in the Uchiha clan that Kishimoto wanted to write himself, in part I - part II Uchiha storyline was not made by him, which is why Itachi is SO DAMN DIFFERENT (and tbqh better written).
Whoever picked up the Uchihas (Sasuke included) in part II understood Itachi as a terrified 13 years-old kid who wanted more than anything to keep his brother away from him so he would be protected, and tried (actually with some effort by the reader succeeded, too) to fix the SHIT that Kishitmoto did in Part I by explaining that Itachi did all that to scare Sasuke into giving up on his revenge by making Sasuke believe that it would be impossible to attain the power necessary to kill him.
That’s why in the end Itachi apologizes to Sasuke saying he underestimated him and was entirely wrong in his approach - he was, he didn’t know Sasuke’s personality enough to predict how he would react to being challenged like that. The Part II writer was able to (and kudos to him) convince me that Itachi saw Sasuke as the meek mellow little kid he saw and nothing more, so he thought that if he tortured Sasuke the boy would be so terrified of him he would give up pursuing revenge.
Part I Itachi on the other hand is just a piece of shit without any coherence whatsoever like everything else Kishimoto wrote himself (Sarutobi, the way he half-assedly “explained” Naruto being shunned by the village, and all that nonsensical shit in the beginning).
