why leave it for the guys?
Shaving seems simple enough: apply shaving cream to your skin, carefully run a new razor up your leg (or whatever body part you’re making smooth), wash the hair away. Voila: Baby soft skin! Unfortunately, this is one beauty ritual that we’re all known for rushing along. Whether you’re in a huge rush or you just don’t have the patience to be slow and steady, shaving usually ends up more like this: you haphazardly throw your leg against the sink, realize you forgot shaving cream and use bar soap instead, you borrow your brother’s razor to save money, and you try to beat your last fast shaving time. Sure, you’ve just earned five extra minutes, but you’ve also given yourself cuts, ingrown hairs, razor burns, and probably some missed spots (and at that point, a stray hair is the least of your concerns).
Soft, smooth, silky, shaved legs are considered to be the norm for many women. Personally, I love having silky, clean-shaven legs, but that only seems to last a day or two for me, so I end up shaving all the time. But lately, with the no-shaving trend that’s been happening, I’ve been curious about what it’s like. So, I decided not to shave my legs for the entire week. To have hair or not to have hair? That is the question!
Hi! We all know summer is coming so it's time to ditch the pants and leggings, and start wearing shorts. I don't shave my legs; I never really thought about it until I came into the US. Almost everyone has silky, smooth, hairless legs. I, on the other hand, have hair on mine. I want to wear shorts but I'm really scared that people will find me repelling and disputing.
