In retrospect, this duet was so ridiculously over the top that it is hard not to laugh during its entire duration. I mean, Hilary Duff essentially had a duet with herself. A duet complete with sabotage, costume changes and an eventual Lizzie McGuire solo. Imagine being in the audience as this whole thing unraveled. They seemed into it but I think I'd want my money back.

From episodes about bras to first kisses to body image, the show’s impact was so formative that I’m pretty sure that I have my own animated alter-ego giving a running commentary of what I really think. She’s probably not rockin’ the capri pants and wedge sandals like Lizzie’s is, but I’m sure she’s stylin in her own way.
