Snippets in time of the Corries’ journey across the universes.

They had been flying through hyperspace for a while now, on their way back home from their secret mission in a remote part of the galaxy when something suddenly nudged the ship. It rattled, shook and then finally, got thrown out from the hyperspace lane completely.

The alarms going off, blasting loudly, red lights flashing on each and every board. The reason unknown, but they were falling, fast!

“We’re going down!”

“The question is, where!”

Hurling through space without any instrument readings, their location unknown.

“I can see a planet closing in, fast!”

The ship was decelerating, thankfully! And so, they landed with a thud. More like, crashed, but not as badly as originally feared, the team all intact and possibly, the ship having survived the uncontrolled landing as well. The place? Somewhere else, as in not of their universe.

*** Fox stole a steaming hot cup of caf. Why you might ask did Fox do just that? To steal a simple cup of caf?Well, Fox needed the cup of caf to get by with his day. The mission, his men depending on Fox being at his best, the rest? Well, does not really matter as the cup of caf is the point in here. As Fox needed his caf simply to survive! The days long, the work hard and boring, the people at odds with him and his men, so caf being their best and perhaps only line of defence. And why did Fox need to steal the cup of caf? And not simply buy a cup of caf? Well you see, the morning, like most had been bad at first yawning. Things having gone awry since the very beginning with the showers being on the fritz, then the holo-call to get in early messing the whole thing. (Or more). Something in the quarters being a miss and then ending up forgetting his pack, with the credits and all alas! And so, nothing to pay with the one simple cup of caf! Oh the humanity of it all! Fox only wished time could for him stall!
