i hate when people younger than me are married with a career and their life together in general. it's so fucked up to have your life together in your twenties who does that

#just found out my co teacher today is 24 wtf 😭😭😭#i thought he was just like a young looking 30#this is unreal#anyway i am behind in life and i will never catch up#i hate when people younger than me are married bc i'm 27 and never been in love#like oh. time is genuinely running out huh#anyway im normally fine and normal abt this bc i know realistically that i have time for all the things i want to do in life#i will probably find love and figure out a career etc#i'm just insane bc it's november and i'm 27 it's fine#this has been a shitpost

i actually never think a romantic subplot is unnecessary because i desperately need to believe love is real and that it's everywhere i hope this helps ❤️

#i actually think love has a place in almost any story because stories are about humanity so there will be things like love and hope etc#i know everyone loves to complain about unnecessary romantic subplots but NOT ME#would love an analysis behind why so many people are annoyed by it#like on such a wide scale that its a common complaint about many stories in general that are otherwise good#idc if its not always super well developed bc i can suspend my disbelief idk what to tell you i want to believe in love so its easy to#this has been a shitpost#i mean SOMETIMES the chemistry or acting or writing is so unbearably cringe that its annoying but thats rare

substitute teacher is so epic. no qualifications whatsoever i just sit here and scroll tumblr while kids do their silent work and Speak Authoritatively when needed

#i wear a blazer and everything#i get to be off work reliably by 3:30 so i dont have to waste vacation time for doctor's appointments#and if i dont want to work for any reason any time i can just say nope not available#only problem is everything else#cant get work reliably week to week and the pay is bad#never know when im working until the night before or sometimes the morning of#this has been a shitpost#its really nice the other teachers seem to respect me like im actually on their level tho#my job is mostly telling kids to quiet down and giving them permission to use the bathroom#and grading#the work is so unreliable and the pay is so bad tho i literally couldn't do it if i wasn't living w my parents lol#and its not going to work long term#but its good for now

#he met a girl 7 months ago in japan dated her for 4 months mentioned her to my parents and i last night even tho we talk weekly#bc he wanted to tell us he wants to propose#his judgement w women has always been terrible but to be fair he hasn't dated anyone in a long time and we've never met her#so we're cautiously optimistic#tho i somehow knew this was going to happen#but that doesn't mean it's bad hopefully it's good#as long as they don't stay there forever and never come home lol#she's not even from japan she's from the philippines so hopefully they come back#he's supposed to come back for a job in a few months hopefully#and he's basically planning to be engaged and come back then work for a few months and then she'll follow him#anyway this exact thing happened to my uncle somehow#i guess being a tourist makes you an exotic stranger idk#anyway 7 months of dating is pushing it to get engaged imo but 4 is crazy to me#hopefully it works out tho#this has been a shitpost#personal

hey does anyone know if there's any way to reap generously without sowing generously? i'd really like to reap generously but idk i kinda feel like it would be easier to sow sparingly lol

#i know i have to make an effort to see the fruits of my labor but i dont wanna!!!!#also im irl ordering crops for spring rn 🤣#and im being thrifty and cheap by ordering the smaller trees bc they're easier to plant and im broke rn lol#even tbo im wondering if i should also get 100 of the bigger ones they were so hard to plant last year 😖#but they look amazing this year ngl#anyway certified farmer post#this has been a shitpost#its not really a big deal bc i was advised to go w the smaller ones by a more experienced farmer due to the rocky soil#and he's right#but i want the immediate rewards of watching my trees get big faster :)#lol#also we keep sowing clover seed and its not really taking over the field as hoped so i need to order more and do tbat in the spring too#alas#fourth times the charm

#never got to see them before!!!!#was so cool#i was planning to go out and check but i wasnt even ready to do that when i went outside for a different reason and saw them#it happened earlier than predicted then never came back#so if i had waited to check then i would have missed them#it was actually visible to the eye just not as vibrant as this#i called my mom and brother out to see and it was super cool#we stood out freezing and watching#anyway rip if u missed them i feel ur pain bc i always get excited when there's a chance then miss them#and there's very rarely a chance in my area#its like twice a year maybe but i ALWAYS miss them#never got to see them before#northern lights#aurora borealis#this has been a shitpost

#its substitute teacher but they said they need a sub almost every day#and there's opportunity to move to full time as an aide eventually#it's at my dream school tho! and only 18 minutes drive#only $14 an hour but idc atm lol#hopefully could get a raise at some point#but money is money#i was hoping for more than my previous job paid but it will do bc there's like actual future opportunities here#this has been a shitpost
