Insane that Uber sends push notifications like "Hey, don't forget you can schedule a ride!" As though my use of Uber isn't predicated on zero public transit and no available car. As though I'm gonna see the notification and chuckle like "Ah what the hell, let's do a quick ride around the block"
It's like when I get emails from U-Haul going "Hey, 20% off a truck rental!!" Like ahh you got me U-Haul, I was gonna not use your services since I'm, y'know, not moving or anything, but let me head on over and rent a truck and do donuts in your parking lot for a bit. Thanks for emailing me, guys.
