Rey in The Last Jedi (2017)
Something inside me has always been there. Then I was awake, and I need help.
I know how to run without you holding my hand.
I know all about waiting… For my family. They’ll be back. One day.
You will remove these restraints and leave this cell with the door open.
I will remove these restraints and leave this cell with the door open.
hi, I drew a Rey today
The light. It’s always been there. It will guide you.
I’m no one.
You have that power too.
It’s so funny because I’ve watched the movie, and I related to Rey a lot. A lot. It actually surprised me how much I related to her story and who she is, and the tones and process that she goes through. So for me, that’s so good that we’re able to get different versions of relationships between audience and the cast. - John Boyega.
She’s cool and smart and she can look after herself. - Daisy Ridley.
The belonging you seek is not behind you, it is ahead. I am no Jedi, but I know the Force. It moves through and surrounds every living thing. Close your eyes…feel it. The light…it’s always been there, it will guide you. The saber, take it.
Rey is so strong. She’s cool and smart and she can look after herself.
#no chill
The crazy thing is, it’s true. The Force, the Jedi, all of it. It’s all true.
“So, Finn and Rey may not look alike, but their commonalities far outweigh their differences. Both are essentially war orphans. He was a child soldier, bred to wear the white armor of a stormtrooper and fight and die, if necessary, on behalf of The First Order. She was abandoned at age 5 on the desert world of Jakku, and has been waiting ever since to be reclaimed.” [x]
