I think it is kind of ironic that the interview with Jeremy is about how VA's can't say the smallest thing because of disproportionate reactions, and now a lot of feelings are hurt.
That being said, I don't think he should have said Bex liked the Plance fanart as a 'joke', it discredits the artist and was a bad word choice. I assume Bex likes Plance art and other things because well....they like them.
Also unfortunate that he specifically mentioned Plance because they're like....the nicest shippers ever. I think it was just the most recent incident in his mind, and not a specific attack on Plance but still. The garden is so pure, they deserve only kindness.
