annual exalted thinking currently has me playing with the idea of a starmetal alchemical literally built from the corpse of a god and like. yeah i know thats what all starmetal is made out of but like. the idea of that for a person is juicy to me. lots of "failing to meet expectations" and lots of "i cant be that person, that person is dead" you know. also the idea that like. it was trying to revive that particular dead god and failing. if we imbue their corpse with a spark of exaltation, give them a personhood, that means theyre back right? frankenstein's divine monster. necromancy on a technicality.

Man Exalted really is the settings that is like ah I am a Farmer in a bronze age city that can just be destroyed by rain fire because of Cosmic Bureaucracy. Then like some people with power show up in Voltron that is a big puppet (but is totally not) just ruin like the economy or some bs.
