do you have the pattern for the cloaks you made? they look amazing 😭
Thank you 😭😭 they’re really rough up close. I don’t have a pattern, I winged it! My approach was making like half a skirt/an open skirt and then sewing a hood into the lining!
picky eating
They’re not the cleanest but I made the kids I work with these little cloaks for Christmas 🐌🐝💜
Have you read…TLT 👉🏽👈🏽 ifeel like you would like it
I have tried… I couldn’t get past the first few chapters of the first book because Gideon’s narration annoyed me and sci-fi is already not a genre I’m typically into BUT my friend is making a primer and I think I will enjoy Harrow’s character (I’ve been told I will) and start on her book. I bought Gideon the Ninth no questions asked no research into the series after seeing some beautiful artwork of Ianthe and she’s. Erm. 🤓☝️ um. so I do think I will get into the series after a weird start.
come be just a wild rabid animal with me random girl let's eat your mom
have you watched arcane? what do you think of jinx?
I watched the first season with my sister when it came out at the time but I haven't really gotten to the second season and I don't know if I will or at least atm! I'm not a huge shows or movies person, and especially not when it comes to darker media. Book violence is barely fine for me, but visuals and actors and all that give me bad dreams.
I liked certain aspects of her character and disliked others- very general, I'm sorry, it's been a while. As a schizophrenic I disliked a lot of the like... portrayal of her psychosis, and I think certain aspects of it could be or just is damaging to how schizophrenics are seen to the public (not to even speak of the fandom interpretations and takes because good lord), but there were also some things irt Jinx I related to and felt deeply about. Jinx isn't the most egregious schizophrenic/psychotic representation I've ever come across, like silver lining is that she had some kind of internal world and reasoning.
I haven't seen s2 but I'm willing to bet, like any schizophrenic character who isn't outright just an actual demon, she has some kind of moment of mental clarity and does the right thing and then dies or kills herself. Just a guess tbh since it's generally the unspoken duty of schizophrenics in media (and in real life, honestly) to do one good deed after creating misery for others their whole lives and then die, remembered as both more-than and less-than human but never just human. I don't think it's something writers or audiences consciously think of which lets it slip into stories over and over, yadda yadda.
I think the shows politics were generally very confused and had a good few points where the writing and soundtrack just did not hit the mark, but it had its moments and was beautiful!
i just want to know the eva madoc justin drama. is that so wrong.
its really common in queer spaces to get over-sharing really fast. i'm with you on the weird feeling of it. there are so many other things to bond over that aren't incredibly personal. i tend to redirect when i get the chance
I understand it to a degree, but it’s definitely strange… a lot of these people are like 18-25ish and/or severely online, so I think the life/social experience just isn’t there.
cannot emphasize how much of a normal one i am having
May i request some Jurdan in these trying times?
